The food menu is great, and the children really enjoy the variety of age-appropriate experiences provided. The activities support purposeful learning and help children develop at their own pace.

Our child is always excited to go, and we’ve seen such a big improvement in their confidence, social skills, and learning. The centre has such a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, and the team always keeps families well informed. We feel very lucky to be part of such a caring community and would definitely recommend it to other parents.

Both of my boys attended Headstart Clarendon from the time they were babies until they moved on to Kindergarten, and we couldn’t have asked for a better start to their education journey. They absolutely loved going every single day. The quality of education they received was outstanding. They developed so many valuable, lifelong skills that have set them up beautifully for school and beyond. As a school teacher myself, I was incredibly impressed — from the moment I walked into the centre, I fell in love with the layout, the learning environment, and the thoughtfully designed programs in place. The staff are warm, nurturing, and genuinely caring. I always felt that my children were valued and loved as if they were their own. That level of trust and reassurance as a parent is priceless. I truly can’t recommend Headstart Clarendon highly enough. If you are looking for quality early childhood education and care in the Hawkesbury, this is the place to be.

Today it is with a heavy heart that my family walked out of Headstart Early Learning Centre West Ryde's doors for the last time - having first entered 6 years ago! Our eldest son attended from age 19 months - 5.5 years and our youngest son from age 14 months - 4.5 years from Nursery to Preschool 2. It feels like just the other day both children were welcomed on their first day by educators that felt like family. To Josephine, Arifa, Cathy, Geer, Laila, Skye, Doan, Chanel, Chloe, Jade, Chantelle, Indira, Irene words can't express how truly grateful we are for every effort made, making learning so exciting and fun and for all the love and nurturing you have given our children. You've wiped their tears, held them close when they've had separation anxiety, had the patience of a saint listening to them talking non-stop all day (!!) and danced and laughed with them through play time, news, yoga, gardening, literacy, science, athletics incursions the list goes on and on. To chef Linda thank you for all the yummy meals you have prepared for our children - we don't know what magic you do to broccoli but our youngest has only ever eaten it at the centre!! Having been with the centre for so many years naturally we've seen a few changings of the guard however we have been blown away by the support and streamlined management of lovely Centre Manager Nancy since she joined in May 2025 bringing a wealth of knowledge and over 12 years of experience in the early childhood education and care industry. To any parents considering Headstart West Ryde look no further your child/children will be safe here and well looked after and loved and the educators keep you updated throughout the day with lesson recaps, photos, feeding/sleep/toilet reporting all via Xplor app. A final thank you to everyone at Headstart Early Learning Centre West Ryde for helping our children grow, learn, build resilience and confidence and ensuring they have all the necessary skills to have the best start for big school. Hopefully we get to meet again one day maybe at the local shops as our children have already asked when can they visit the centre again :*)

Special mention to the teachers- Chanel, Arifa, Irene, Doan, Clara, Josephine, Indira, Geer, Cathy,and Skye. They are exceptionally amazing educators and each of them have contributed in very special ways to my childs growth and development. Chef Linda is lovely as well, and cooks a variety of nutritious and delicious meals. The new centre manager Nancy has also done an incredible job of bringing in new initiatives, re-energizing the atmosphere and promptly taking our concerns/ suggestions on board. Overall it has been a fantastic experience, and I highly recommend this centre.

My oldest is now 4, and both attend full time. The staff are absolutely amazing — caring, professional, and genuinely invested in the children. The management team is also incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, always approachable and supportive. I always feel confident knowing my kids are safe, well looked after, and having so much fun while learning and growing. I couldn’t recommend this centre more highly.
