It really is a great centre. The educators are so kind and really look after each child as their own. We will be forever grateful for the love and care that the educators and all staff have shown.

All the educators there are so great with kids, and are always willing to listen to any extra information (e.g. if your child is having a hard time with something) and make a concerted effort to makes things as smooth and easy as possible for your child. I'm so glad my son goes here.

The staff are incredibly lovely, caring and genuinely invested in the children. From day one, they made the transition to a new daycare so easy for our boys, which meant so much to us as parents. They are accommodating, communicative and always welcoming. It’s clear they create a nurturing environment where the children feel safe, supported and excited to learn. We’ve seen our boys settle in beautifully and grow in confidence, and that’s a real credit to the team. We’re so grateful to have found such a wonderful centre and highly recommend them to any families looking for a caring and supportive daycare.

Pelicans in the City 2 made us feel so confident that our son was receiving the best care and nurturing as he transitioned... Anita (the centre manager) helped so much with my transition as a parent and went to extra mile to help our family settle into our new routine.

Thank you to every teacher who has cared for him, taught him, and helped shape who he is today. And to Miss Anita — thank you for being there for me when I felt lost. Your encouragement and support gave me strength when I needed it the most. We will always carry your kindness in our hearts.

When I first visited Pelicans, I was impressed by Kylee’s warmth, knowledge, and professionalism. After touring several early learning centres, it became clear that this was the place where I felt most confident and welcomed. High-quality educators were essential for me, and during my visits I observed the team at work — the way they speak to the children, guide them, play with them, and support their growth is simply beautiful. What I love most is their policies, flexible approach, the safety, and commitment to open and honest communication. Infact, communication with educators, director and leadership is top-notch, and any issue is addressed promptly. I also love that I can view the daily activities and more online about my child’s day. I truly feel we work together as a team — educators and parents — with the shared goal of giving each child the best possible experience. The environment is clean, thoughtfully arranged, and inviting, with rooms set up in age-appropriate activities. Facilities, outdoor and even the menu is well designed and child-focused. Thank you for the exceptional care you provide. Your dedication, passion, and hard work are amazing — you are all Stars!

We’ve had an excellent experience at Pelicans. All the educators and the leadership team are patient, caring, and genuinely invested in the children’s growth. The environment is clean, safe, and organized, with plenty of age-appropriate activities that keep the kids engaged and happy. There were times where our expectations differ to what is delivered by the centre. And there was a time of staff turnover thus there was a time where there were many changes. Not all changes are bad, they gave fresh outlook and ideas to the centre. The addition of new educators such as Ms Mubee together with passionate educators that stayed such as Ms Shanay, Ms Nettie, Ms Corryne and Ms Kozue kept the place thriving. I could name more educators and yet will miss a name, I am sure of that. The director and leadership team are quick to address any issues. There are upgrades in the centre that are due and plans were already in place. Communication with us is excellent—daily updates, photos, and quick responses to questions. Our child came as a baby has become more confident, social, and independent since attending (4 yrs++). Highly recommended if you would like a centre in the city.
