This daycare has been such a breath of fresh air after visiting other centres. Kylee, the director, is welcoming, professional, and truly passionate about the children. I’ve never experienced such consistent updates and such a genuine home-like feeling when dropping off my child. The staff are so caring, supportive, and go above and beyond to make every child feel happy and safe. I feel so grateful to have found this centre and couldn’t recommend it more! My son comes home everyday talking about how much he adores his educators and how excited his is to return tomorrow!

As a new mum, the transition from parental leave back to work wasn’t easy, and leaving my child during the day felt daunting. But I found the centre an absolute breeze to deal with. Kylie, the director, is never stressful or pressuring and always available, so when I decided to extend my parental leave and delay my daughter’s start date, she made it so easy for us. I feel my daughter is in great hands in the nursery with Miss Charlene and Miss Debora. I love the daily updates through the app! I couldn’t believe how creative they are with the activities they plan for the children. Honestly, I wouldn’t have thought of half the activities they come up with! It gives me so much peace of mind knowing my daughter is cared for, nurtured, and stimulated every day she goes. Thank you :)

Highly recommend Pelicans in the City - Centre 1 for your daycare needs. All the educators are so so kind, loving and caring... Highly recommend Pelicans in the City - Centre 1 for your daycare needs. All the educators are so so kind, loving and caring and you can tell they always have the best interests of the child at the forefront of their mind. The meals cooked for the kids are healthy and delicious and are of a good variety to encourage your child to try new things. My son has been going here since he was 9 months old (2.5 now), and we have never had an issue. The centre takes safety seriously and I couldn’t ask for a better centre and environment to look after my child day in and day out.

He is always happy to go to daycare, and never cries on drop off. The staff there are so approachable, and always greet you in the morning. We love the amount of updates we receive throughout the day, and never have to ask questions as his educators are always first to let us know if anything has changed. The Centre Manager is amazing, and the office staff are very quick to check on any inquiries we have. We are very grateful to have such amazing people caring for our family! ♥️

The educators within this service are highly skilled in the work they do and provide my children with the skills they need to continue to develop and thrive in such a nurturing environment. My son is in the Kindy room and daughter in the Pre-Kindy room. My son also requires additional support and we have received the best care for him from Miss Zoe and her Kindy team to help him prepare for his future. The educators in both my children’s room are simply put; amazing. As a parent they make me feel completely at ease to leave my children with them. Miss Jo is the director at this centre and you can feel the positive connection she has with her educators and the support she offers them. Which provides for a calming, loving natured centre for the children and their families. If looking for childcare, I would highly recommend visiting and saying hello! They will not disappoint! :)
