I have had three children attend Dickory Dock Kids and we absolutely love the centre. It's really hard to put into words just how beautiful and caring the staff are and how much effort they put in every day. They make a huge effort for your child's birthday, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Christmas and so on. They have an end-of-year celebration and a special graduation ceremony for the children (complete with cloaks and hats!). There is never a day when you drop the kids off and the team aren't smiling. The Director, Jo, is absolutely fabulous to deal with and clearly has a team that loves her as there is very little staff turnover. Over the past few years Jo has led a a lot of improvements and the redevelopment of the centre and stunning new nature playground are an incredible achievement. I will be truly saddened when my youngest finishes at the centre as they've been part of our family for such a long time and we love everyone that forms part of this beautiful childcare and kindergarten. x Natasha Shannon
My eldest Son aged 5 graduated from Kindergarten at Dickory Dock (DD) in December 2017 and had been attending the centre since he was 9-months old. I also have a 2year old daughter who has been going to DD for 18-months now. From day one DD has been nothing short of exceptional in accommodating our family and always putting our children at the heart of everything they do. The policies, practices and communication is brilliant and the technology that underpins all of this is amazing. Oh and who can forget Mervat the chef. Adjusting the menu to accommodate our children’s allergies in their earlier years. Thank you. But above all else the carers absolutely adore the kids and care for them as if they were their own. I have often been faced with my children crying because they don’t want to leave the centre which is the opposite to what many other parents are faced with each day when dropping their children off to day care. Such a refreshing experience for my husband and I and of course our children. Thanks DD for the amazing job you do everyday. Laura Horton
