Our daughter has been at this service for over a year now and we are happy to have stayed through all the changes that have happened. For a family who doesn’t have all that much family support, it’s so nice to drop her off and watch as she runs off to her educators met with open arms, and is so loved. The little things they know about her, just show how much they truly care for the ones in their care. The change of management had come at a good time, and can see the hard work that is being put into the centre to turn things around, when things have been brought forward to the ladies at the desk, it is followed up either immediately or within 24/48 hours.

Best centre. The team have been so patient with us as first timers. They have offered support to not only my child but also to me as a parent. The chef is wonderful and makes daily treats for families to enjoy. Leanne and Monique are gorgeous, and so supportive. Often see them in the rooms supporting with hugs and love for all the children. Absolutely reccomend this place!!

Horrible experience for the 3 months we had here I am glad my daughter is out of there. She is still navigating trauma with going into care from her experience at Werribee Kids but her new centre has done so well at reinstalling confidence in her. We have seen a huge change in such a short time since being away from Werribee Kids (2 weeks). Recommend all families stay away from this establishment it’s just for the money, no care or passion from staff at all.

Really negative experience at this centre, we are still shocked at the things that happened. My son who has autism was degraded by a staff members comments about him, our kids were terrified at drop offs and frequently came home extremely hungry. It started off somewhat good but didn’t last long with changes in management. I’m glad my kids are far from this place now but it took a while for us to work through as parents, with the guilt we carry in sending our kids to the worst and wrong centre for as long as we did. Needs a huge overhaul which is absurd for a fairly new centre only opening in recent years, or needs to shut down all together. Avoid at all costs, even if it’s the closest/most convenient centre to you.

Zero stars if I had the option. We recently visited this centre and left feeling very uncomfortable with what we observed. The overall environment felt chaotic, particularly downstairs, where it seemed stressful for both children and staff. Several children were visibly upset, with multiple crying at once, and there didn’t appear to be enough educators present to adequately support them. Cleanliness and maintenance were also concerning. The bathrooms were in poor condition, with water across the floors and toilet paper scattered around. In the classrooms, resources were limited and poorly maintained, books were damaged and falling apart, and materials were left messy and disorganised across the floors, making the spaces feel neglected rather than engaging. Supervision and care raised serious concerns during our visit. We (with the assistant director) witnessed 2 children accidentally run into each other head on and although other educators also saw the incident, there was no immediate response to comfort or assist. The sense of urgency you need to have when caring for young children was totally absent. If this is how they handle things at the centre with management and potential new families present, I fear to think of the level of “care” shown when it’s an average day with no outside eyes. The tour itself did not inspire confidence. The Assistant Director appeared disengaged and unenthusiastic, providing only minimal information and basic answers to our questions, which made it difficult to feel reassured about the centre’s standards or approach. Overall, the experience did not reflect a safe, nurturing, or well-managed environment, and we would not feel comfortable enrolling our child here.

We had 3 of our children attend this centre from when it first opened through to 2024. During the earlier years, when Darren was running the centre alongside Naima as centre manager, our experience was mostly very positive. We initially enrolled our eldest son, and I really appreciated how responsive the team was to any concerns. We consistently received updates throughout the day, and there was strong support during his transition. There was one incident where a staff member made an inappropriate comment about my son’s communication skills to another staff member (my son is on the spectrum). When I brought this to management, I appreciated the prompt and firm action taken by Darren and Naima to address it, including removing that staff member who made the comment. It was a really traumatising experience to know such a level of unprofessionalism was possible from someone who you trusted to care for your child and as we worked through it with my son, we were okay to continue sending him here as that staff member was let go, and we felt extremely supported. Any families with children on the spectrum or with extra needs, will know this is already such a hard thing to go through with putting your child in care. It’s a very sensitive area. As time went on, we enrolled our two daughters, and all three children settled well initially. However, after a change in management with Tamara, we began to notice a decline in the overall quality of the centre. Our children became unsettled at drop-offs, sometimes refusing to attend and describing it as a “mean school.” Communication also declined, with fewer updates provided throughout the day. They often came home with bruises or scratches, pointing out “ouchies” to me but when questioning room staff they advised they had no idea what happened or “didn’t see anything”. When I raised these concerns, centre management acknowledged them but were unable to provide clarity around what the children were experiencing and nothing changed. There also appeared to be a high turnover of staff, and we noticed familiar families leaving the centre. Ultimately, we made the decision to withdraw our children and enrol them elsewhere. Since then, they have thrived and settled in very quickly. My two eldest are now in primary school, and I often reflect on our time at Werribee Kids as our first childcare experience. It’s disappointing to see that ongoing changes at the centre don’t appear to have resolved concerns raised by families. I feel it’s important to share our experience so that other parents searching for childcare can make an informed decision. ** ITS ALSO IMPORTANT TO NOTE - the review below mine from Monique F. rating the centre 5 stars, is actually a staff member at the centre. She was who the said staff member made the inappropriate comment to. She underwent disciplinary action as well, but was not removed as she hadn’t been the one who actually made the comment. So I’m unsure how genuine the highly rated reviews are.

We have been with WK since it first opened and for a long time it was an incredible centre. Unfortunately over the last year since being taken over by Affinity Education, things have declined significantly. Transitions between rooms have been poorly managed with far less communication than expected. The transition itself was rushed when it finally occurred with insufficient orientation. When my daughter started in her new room she came home saying she had been pushed and hit and was scared to return to the new room, then started having nightmares. When I emailed my concerns I was told she only witnessed something but was not involved, however an educator in the room told my husband she WAS targeted and they have been speaking with the other kids family. The centre offered to upload a post to the app for me to show how my daughter is coping in her new room to ease my mind of her safety and wellbeing, it took two months and multiple in person and email reminders from myself to finally receive a very very basic short update which didnt cover anything they'd offered to write about. Daily room updates have become rare and inconsistent, its often 1-2 weeks between one random upload of photos and info, for instance we've recieved 3 updates in 2 months. We will get maybe a few routine notifications (for meals, sunscreen, snack etc) if we’re lucky, so we never know what shes eaten or done during the days shes there. I understand the childrens care is priority and these updates cant always be done, but surely this frequency could be improved with better staffing numbers. We have also received calls informing us of incidents where my daughter has been injured and informing us we will have to sign an incident report at pick up, but we are yet to see any corresponding incident reports. We cant discuss it at pick up as the day staff have already left and the evening staff arnt aware of it, so there seems to be very little handover at staff changeover. I emailed the centre asking about the incident report for the second one and they replied saying they will follow up, I never heard back. Last week we picked her up on a 30 degree day, the first hot day of summer, and she was outside playing in a warm jumper...and no shoes, and no hat (no shoes and no hat often happen, but I can appreciate its hard to keep them on 3yos) ..she got home and just immediatly sculled a full water bottle. As we rarely get updates in the app im unsure if she was outside running around in the heat in her jumper all day, so unsure if they monitor risks of heat exhaustgen. Clothes often go missing, and i find some of them just tossed in the top of the lost property box clearly stamped with her full name. There doesn't seem to be any sort of structured activities during the day so the kids are missing so many opportunities for learning and growth in the older rooms. Some rooms make crafts and gifts for fathers day and christmas etc, but ours didn't. It feels like theres a new frustration every week! There has been a noticeable increase in both staff and children leaving the centre throughout the year. While emails or conversations with management may sound reassuring, the promised actions rarely happen. I share this feedback with disappointment, as we loved this centre for so long. I hope WK can return to the standard it once had, though it seems after ongoing negative feedback from multiple families, nothing gets actioned. Some of the educators are genuinely wonderful and I'm truly greatful for the genuine love they've shown for my daughter over the years, and I feel they are let down by management, the younger rooms have much more consistent updates and levels of care. We have moved our daughter to another centre in Werribee.

We are so lucky to have found this centre. Centre Manager Leanne and Monice are fabulous. So understanding and the communication we have received has been amazing compared to our previous centre. My sons room has the most amazing and dedicated teachers. Highly recommend this centre.

The centre was great when it first opened, wonderful director Naima. We moved earlier this year which resulted in us leaving this establishment and unfortunately I've had nothing but trouble chasing up over $1,000 of rebate entitlements. I've sent multiple emails chasing this up for over 7months. Turns out there was an admin error and they expect me to wear their incompetence. I'd be very cautious moving forward with this centre as once you're out the door they don't care to do the correct thing. I'm not the only one that's having trouble chasing money, seems to be a common theme. Shame, as the staff my girls had were good.

We love everything about Werribee kids! Our daughter has absolutely flourished under there care! I’ve never felt more comfortable sending my baby girl somewhere everyday! I can’t wait to see her flourish more and to watch the same amazing growth when I enrol my soon to be born son!
