From the moment we joined this centre, we felt genuinely welcomed and supported. The educators took the time to get to know our child and our family, which made such a difference. We always felt listened to, respected, and included, and it gave us real peace of mind knowing our child was cared for in such a nurturing environment. A big part of this positive experience comes from the strong leadership at the centre. Staci leads with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care. She is approachable, communicates clearly, and creates a positive culture where both educators and families feel valued and supported. That leadership flows through the entire team and is reflected in the calm, happy environment for the children. We’re incredibly grateful for the kindness, consistency, and sense of community this centre provides. It truly feels like a place where children and families belong.

My daughter went to Goodstart Shaftsbury about four years ago, and now my son is getting ready to head to school after being there for the past two and a half years. I honestly can’t recommend this centre enough. The staff are incredible at understanding kids and building strong, genuine relationships with them. My son has delayed speech and the team have been amazing with always checking in after his appointments and making sure they’re continuing to support and strengthen his language skills. As a parent, it’s reassuring to see how much they care and how committed they are to helping him grow. This centre has been a huge part of both my children's early years and I’m really grateful for everything they’ve done!!

As a mother, I deeply appreciate having a place like Shaftsbury Blvd where I feel completely at ease leaving my children. The entire team exemplifies a true commitment to the safety of our little ones, which addresses every parent's biggest concern our children's well-being. I always feel reassured knowing that they will promptly inform me of any incidents, reflecting their dedication to open communication and care. Our daughter attended Goodstart Shaftsbury for almost three years until we recently relocated. We felt so lucky to have found this daycare! The teachers were loving, patient, and made every day exciting for our child. It was such a comfort knowing she was happy, safe, and learning in a warm environment. Special kudos to Xi, Rachel, Sadia, Ashley, and Alina for ensuring our daughter was well taken care of during her time at the center.

Today I went in for a tour and what they showed me was a very friendly and inviting facility. The staff was amazing and extremely knowledgeable, I felt so at peace at Shaftesbury blvd GoodStart after touring other daycares today and not finding the home atmosphere with the nurturing staff. Today I found a safe, homey, and welcoming atmosphere with the most nurturing staff ever. I would highly recommend their services to everyone especially the mothers who are always so worried about your little ones. Trust me when I say I would never let anyone look after my child, but this centre immediately made me feel trust and care throughout. Thank you for such an amazing tour and the warm welcoming! Avoid this daycare at all costs! If I could give zero stars, I would. Over the past two years, my daughter has endured repeated physical aggression from another child at this facility, including biting and hitting. Despite numerous complaints and conversations with the staff and management, they failed to take any meaningful action to ensure her safety. A daycare’s number one responsibility is to provide a safe environment for all children, and this place has completely failed in that regard. Their inability—or unwillingness—to properly handle a child who was repeatedly harming others is absolutely unacceptable. Instead of addressing the issue, they allowed it to continue, leaving my daughter vulnerable and afraid. If you value your child’s safety and well-being, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This facility has proven time and time again that they are either incapable or uninterested in protecting the children in their care.

We are so grateful for the wonderful experience our son has had at this daycare center. He joined last year, and from day one, he formed a strong bond with his educators. It's clear to see how much he enjoys going to daycare, and we truly appreciate how dedicated the staff is to his well-being. The educators have been attentive to our requests and have followed his routine, which has made the transition so smooth. Our son is thriving and learning so much, and it’s been a joy to watch. A special shout-out to Christy Lee and her team, who have been exceptional. Christy developed a close bond with our son almost immediately, even when he started part-time before moving to full-time care. We also deeply appreciate the open communication, honest feedback, and the genuine care the team provides. Recently, our son transitioned to Toddler 1, and we're confident that Maria and her team will continue providing the same high-quality care and attention. We couldn’t be happier with our experience so far and look forward to watching our son continue to grow in such a nurturing environment.

This centre is truly exceptional. From the moment you step through the front door, the Center Director Staci and Assistant Director Emma extend a warm welcome and the Admin Tanja is absolutely phenomenal, kind and welcoming. Together, they ensure that each family and child's developmental needs are met and accounts are satisfactory. Staci has set a standard of excellence for going above and beyond with her team. A huge shout out to the whole team at Shaftsbury – every educator and ECT is completely honest, approachable, kindhearted, straightforward, and caring. This centre offers an absolutely amazing program throughout the service. One of my favorite educational programs is their puppets for social and emotional learning. My son struggles with self-regulation and since they have introduced their puppets, his understanding has changed dramatically. My second favorite thing here is their language hour. This centre has a wonderful and unique range of educators from multiple cultures across the world, and Staci and her team use this in the best practice to teach children in each room multiple languages throughout their time here. But there is so much more that this centre does that there isn't enough pages to talk about. I would also like to give a huge shout-out to Priscilla, the cook. Every time I walk into the centre, the aroma is perfect. You can instantly smell the love within the food another amazing thing about Priscilla and Staci is they create an incredible opportunity to connect with each family and explore the menu together.

Really great team here looking after our little boy. Always clean, professional and friendly. Love getting the updates on storypark too so we can see how he's going during the day! 😁
