Goodstart Early Learning Child Care Centre Point Cook Lemongrass Circuit is conveniently located just off the Boardwalk, only five minutes from the town centre and close to several primary schools. With over seven years of service, we provide a welcoming environment for children aged six weeks to five years.
Our centre fosters a sense of community, allowing children to move freely between rooms to connect with siblings and peers. We celebrate the diverse cultural backgrounds of our families through inclusive learning activities and a varied weekly food menu.
Building strong relationships with families is at the heart of what we do. We actively encourage family participation in our centre and host engaging events throughout the year, including Mother’s and Father’s Day afternoon teas, parent evenings, and our much-loved Christmas family picnic.
Our dedicated educators, many of whom have been with us for over five years, ensure quality education and continuity of care for all children. We also offer an external music program and a variety of enriching incursions throughout the year.

State Government Approved Programs
Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

The educators embed teaching and learning into play experiences, helping the children to make sense of the world around them. This is how the children learn about how things work and develop important foundational relationships and skills.
The primarily child-directed, play-based curriculum ensures that the children are engaged in their learning. They are encouraged to take the lead, developing their negotiation, risk taking, problem solving and social skills. The educators observe the children and help to challenge them by extending their learning and interests.
The educators recognise that every child is unique and that they bring their own needs, interests and strengths with them each day. The program is designed to be flexible to cater to these differing needs, ensuring every child has the opportunity to thrive at Goodstart.
Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.
The approach at the centre is very much based around partnership between families and educators. The educators work with the parents and carers to build strong relationships. They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.
The educators observe the children every day and tailor the program around their observations. They share these with parents, so they can feel connected to their child’s progress and also provide feedback that will further enhance their child’s learning experience.
Goodstart Early Learning employs qualified and skilled educators who are dedicated to making a difference to the children in their care. I have been working in the Early Childhood industry for 21 years and I turn up to work every day with a smile on my face.
I just love seeing the children grow and develop and being part of this very crucial time in a child’s life as well as sharing this wonderful journey with my families at the centre.

We have had a wonderful experience with this childcare centre. The educators are caring, supportive, and attentive to the children's needs. The environment is welcoming, clean, and safe, and there are plenty of opportunities for children to learn, play, and develop new skills. Communication with families is appreciated, and it is reassuring to know that the children are cared for with kindness and patience. Thank you to the team for all your hard work and dedication!

I am very happy with the care and support my son has received at the daycare centre from an early age. It has been wonderful to see him grow into a more independent and confident child. A special thanks to Lavina for her amazing support and care at early stage, and to Ashu in the Kinder Room for helping him learn and grow. I really appreciate all the educators (Larisa, Uma, Radhika, Mary, Prathima, Juliet) for their hard work and dedication. Candace in Accounts & Admin is very easy to talk and always happy to assist. We have had such a wonderful experience with Goodstart Early Learning, Point Cook – Lemons Grass, where Ryan has been attending since he was just seven months old. He is now in Pre-Kinder, and I’ve always appreciated the love, patience and genuine effort the educators put into nurturing these curious little minds.<br><br>As a first-time mum, returning to work and leaving your baby in someone else’s care can feel daunting. But from the nursery room to now Pre-Kinder, I have always felt reassured knowing Ryan is in safe, caring hands.<br><br>Thank you to all the wonderful educators for creating such a warm, safe and nurturing space for Ryan to grow, learn and flourish.
