Carousel Family Day Care

Dear Families,

Welcome to Carousel Family Day Care.

As a Family Day Care setting all activities that are planned and programmed will be based on each child’s interests.  These interests can be as varied as home corner role playing, STEAM activities which will include cooking morning and afternoon tea for the children to consume, risky play, outdoor play in the mud kitchen and physical activity learning fundamental movement skills through old fashion skipping ropes, elastics, and other games I would like to share from my childhood as well as learning some from theirs.

The Creativity Program will be based around each child’s natural curiosity and interests.  My goal is to use intentional teaching to engage the child’s ability and develop their skills to take them on a journey of process in creating masterpieces of their choice.

Carousel Family Day Care offers 2 sessions of care on a Saturday each for 3 hours either 9.00am-12.00pm or 2.00pm-5.00pm, each of these sessions provide either morning or afternoon tea which the children prepare in the session.  Families will sign a contract for either fortnightly or weekly care for these sessions.  Families will be charged accordingly for the session you have signed to attend even if an absence occurs (please read your complying written agreement carefully before you sign to be aware of your obligations).  If your child needs to be absent for more than 1 week a case-by-case negotiation can occur.
