Harmony has outdone themselves with this new centre. The interiors feel like walking into a child's aethetically pleasing dream playroom with the type of toys and playthings on offer. The staff are all highly qualified and personable + communication is prompt and transparent. It was a hard decision to send two of my children here to a new, un-tested centre, but I (and the kids) could not be happier.

About Harmony Early Education Bardon

At Harmony, we nourish and encourage your child to continue becoming the very person they are meant to be.
Rather than just teach, we collaborate with each child and family to provide an extraordinary environment of learning.

The Harmony Difference
We bring a sense of calm to the years that define early childhood with a composure that is all at once confident and reassured, that can only come from knowing every detail has been carefully and consciously curated.
Beautifully composed from the inside-out, we set a tone and a standard, that says “exceptional” in every way. When all the elements work together in harmony – the environment, the people, the curriculum – it is powerful and wonderful. It is all you could want for your child, and more.
At Harmony, everything we do, is carefully considered and intentional, taking the best from educational philosophy and evidence-based design to create studios and spaces that nurture, protect and grow.
We consistently raise the standards for early education. Our holistic approach to early learning and development is informed by contemporary inquiry-led educational and human research, and the insights of respected international early childhood theorists.
Your child is considered a confident and capable member of our learning community, we embrace the unique and understand the power of celebrating individuals. By recognising and responding to each child’s unique learning disposition and style, we ensure your child’s learning journey is bespoke, and support their ability to contribute to their own and others’ learning.
Harmony is elevating early education.

Parent Communication

About the Curriculum

About the Curriculum

In our studios, especially designed for children birth – two years, we draw upon these key concepts:

Free movement
We believe in Emmi Pickler’s philosophy, “Babies are allowed to move naturally and spontaneously follow their own developmental timetable.” Environments at Harmony are designed to invite children’s free movement and we encourage the infants to reach out, roll, crawl and cruise in order to develop their core muscles which supports them to become independently mobile.

Baby led weaning
We invite children to feed themselves from the time they commence solids, following the infant’s lead. We provide a healthy, balanced mix of finger foods and support the child to monitor how much they wish to eat. Educators are always sitting and engaging with the child during mealtimes.

Individualised care moments
Educators remain ‘present’ during nappy change times and communicate respectfully with children. Emmi Pikler and Magda Gerber believe caregivers need to take the time to make nappy-changing, feeding, bathing and dressing an unhurried, relaxed and pleasant quality time – with the baby being an active partner.

Exploratory times
Each day children at Harmony have uninterrupted time for play and interaction. Crawling and walking infants are invited to freely explore our indoor and outdoor areas and gardens, interacting with nature, each other, and the world around them. Non-mobile infants are supported by our educators.

We are very happy at Harmony Bardon. The kindy program is educationally rich, sophisticated, run by great staff and challenges the children with new tasks and projects each day. The Sage room has dedicated and warm staff who go above and beyond for the children. Sky and Tameika have been excellent. One of our children has required more support with separation anxiety. When we raised concerns about how he was going and settling in (which is naturally every parent’s concern), we were met with an individualised plan to support our son, with consistent follow up during the day to put our minds at ease. We receive daily feedback on how our kids are going, and the staff genuinely know our children - they aren’t just a number. The food is excellent, and the chef puts out food for families morning and night, which is a special touch that adds to our consistency and routine. She has also worked with staff to integrate food preparation into lessons with the children. The grounds and rooms are rich without being overstimulating. There is an impressive mix of arts, STEM and tactile resources for the children. There is also a great mix of outdoor play elements, including water play and native gardens. The management staff are excellent, professional and warm. They have worked hard to establish relationships with local schools, and we have already attended a prep-readiness evening with principals from both schools, organised by Harmony. We’ve experienced a number of early childhood centres and are very satisfied with Harmony and the community it has fostered since it has opened. We’d recommend Harmony Bardon to anyone.

We couldn’t be happier with Harmony Bardon. I was very anxious about starting our child in daycare so we toured 6 centres to make sure we found the best fit for our child. I instantly fell in love with HB. It is so beautiful and thoughtfully designed, extremely clean, and feels safe and warm. We were a little apprehensive with it being a new centre, but the director and several educators have previously worked together at a sister centre which was reassuring for me. The educators are absolutely amazing and we feel that our child is treated like an individual rather than just another number in the room. They are so accommodating with our requests and seem to genuinely want what’s best for our child. I also love receiving updates on food, nappies, sleep, etc. in real time via the app. So happy we went with HB - thank you Abby and team!

Harmony Bardon will absolutely take your breath away! The spaces are so thoughtfully curated to suit every learning style, with SO much available to spark their imaginations - the resources there are endless! And the feeling of each space is just so warm, inviting, and nurturing. I toured several centres prior to enrolling, and this centre is literally in a league of its own. Our 3 boys attend different rooms across different age groups and we could not be happier with the care they receive from the entire team. We have no meltdowns at drop off time, with the boys welcomed every morning to smiling faces who are genuinely happy and excited to see them. It has become a home away from home for all of us, which is exactly what we were hoping for through the early learning/day care stage.
