Centre Manager Natalie shares why she loves working at Guardian Hornsby: “Every day is different, and there is so much to learn from the children as well as teach them. I like the quiet moments of reflection with children where they might share a fact you have taught them or the conversations over meal times where they are relaxed, and we can share a bit of who were are with each other as people. As a Centre, I believe we make a difference in children, and that excites me. The early years are so important and to be able to guide children in that first step of their life long journey is very rewarding to be a part of and share with our families.”

We are proud to have a culturally diverse team of Educators and celebrate a variety of cultures and holidays, including Nowruz and Chinese New Year. Our community-focused team organise bi-monthly BBQs and regular afternoon tea events that our families love attending.

Kids Gourmet Food, an esteemed catering company, delivers three fresh meals daily, in addition to two meals our team prepare each morning. The children and their educators enjoy venturing into the Centre’s garden to gather ingredients to use in cooking classes which extend on the children’s’ knowledge of nutrition and encourages them to try new foods.

My Daughter Grace is in the nursery room and we started in January 2021. It was a tough year being very much in lockdown and isolated away from a lot of mothers groups and friends but Nat and her team were absolutely amazing with Grace. They helped her gently and with so much patience adjust to daycare life away from mum. They ensured she felt safe and on top of everything was having so much fun that she could not wait go back everyday. The whole team are amazing and we love it at Guardian Hornsby :)
My 4 years old son is in the pre-school room at Guardian Hornsby. He is extremely shy so at the beginning it was a real challenge and struggle to get him to attend school. His room educators have been amazing and I can’t speak highly enough of them. They are very caring, nurturing and provided plenty of support to my son, in which he now really enjoys going to the centre. He is progressing well, having more interactions with other children. Natalie is the centre manager and she has also been very helpful and accommodating. She is easy to talk to and takes time to understand our situation. Natalie and the educators communicate with each other to assist us in anyway that they can. We are just so grateful to have found Guardian for our youngest member of the family, and I would highly recommend this centre to future families looking for childcare.
