The entire team was welcoming, professional, and truly dedicated to providing the best learning environment for children. A special thank you to Naima (the director) for her kindness and guidance and to Aggie ( my mentor) for her constant support, encouragement , and patience throughout my placement. She was always willing to share her knowledge and made my learning experience so enjoyable. I’m truly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing team. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt like I was part of a big family. The staff were incredibly caring and supportive, making me feel completely comfortable leaving my son there. With all the challenges in the childcare industry, it was actually a bit scary to think about leaving him anywhere else, but not at Gumboots. They always have a great ratio of staff to children, and if your little one needs extra support to adjust, they’ll be more than happy to help. Every interaction I’ve seen between the staff and kids is handled in the most caring and compassionate way. They don’t use agency staff, so all the staff are well-known and have to meet quality standards to be employed. It’s so reassuring to know that he’s not only safe but also being treated with kindness and compassion. I travel for just 20 minutes to get here, and I pass by plenty of other childcare centres, but I would prefer make the trip then go anywhere else. The updates and photos you get on the app are really helpful when you’re missing your little one too! Naima is an amazing childcare provider, and with Liz (and all the staff) supporting her, there’s no limit to what they can achieve. Don’t miss out on this incredible opportunity - get in before they’re full! In my opinion, Gumboots is the best childcare centre in the whole of the West! Read more
