We honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience at Collards so far. We were extremely nervous about sending our daughter at first, as for the first three years of her life she had only really been cared for by us and her grandparents. It was such a huge transition for our family, but from the very beginning the team made us feel safe, supported, and reassured that she was in the best hands. One of the things we loved most was knowing the kindergarten is family run, and that their own children attend too. It gave us so much confidence knowing they create the same environment for their own families that they do for ours. All of the carers are incredibly warm, friendly, and genuinely caring. Our daughter immediately formed such beautiful bonds with them and absolutely adores every single one. It’s so comforting dropping her off each day knowing she feels happy, loved, and excited to be there. The communication and updates we receive are amazing and really help us feel connected to her days and learning journey. We also love all the additional extracurricular opportunities available, like gymnastics and library visits, which have been such a fantastic addition to her experience. The learning opportunities they create for the children are incredible. We are constantly amazed by the new things our daughter comes home talking about and learning. At the moment they are learning about outer space, and it has been so beautiful seeing her curiosity and excitement grow. We also really appreciate how involved they encourage families and grandparents to be, through special events like Mother’s Day, Grandparents Day, and other celebrations throughout the year. It truly feels like a community, not just a kindergarten. We are so grateful we chose this kindergarten and couldn’t recommend it more highly to other families.

A wonderful family run childcare centre with a warm, welcoming environment. All the staff are caring and kind. The communication through their app is excellent, keeping you updated throughout the day. Most importantly, my son is always happy to be there and is well looked after.

Great childcare and kinda experience to date. Our little one has settled in well and with familiar day to day faces it made the transition much easier. Communication has been really proactive and transparent which we find to be very important.

Our daughter has thrived since attending and genuinely enjoys her time at the centre each day. The communication with families is thorough, and it is clear that the educators are passionate about early childhood development and the wellbeing of every child in their care. Our daughter started the 3-year-old Kindergarten program this year and has already learnt so much. She is always excited to attend and has grown in both confidence and independence. Jaspreet and Kiara have created a wonderful Kindergarten program that teaches the children the essential skills they need as they prepare to transition to school. Their dedication, care, and enthusiasm are truly appreciated, and we are very grateful for the positive impact they have had on our daughter’s learning and development.

The staff at collards have been fanatic in helping my 4 yr old and baby feel comfortable and supported. They are invested and really care for each child. Bonus that it’s a small family owned centre, you can really see the difference from other centers

As someone who has worked in the childcare industry for many, many years, I have seen all types of business models. I can confidently say that Collard Family Kindergarten is a cut above the rest. What sets this centre apart is the incredible leadership & dedicated staff. The management team brings decades of experience to the table and they are consistently available to support not just the children, but the parents as well. It is clear this is not a "cookie-cutter" centre; there is an immense amount of love and thought poured into every program they offer.The staff are remarkably dedicated, and the results speak for themselves in the happy, thriving children you see every day. I highly recommend Collard Family Kindergarten to anyone who is looking for childcare for their kids. My husband & I are so very happy with how this centre is run; the premises are beautiful, and they offer a truly engaging program for children of all ages. The staff are both friendly and highly capable, while the food is delicious & nutritious making it a place my kids are always happy to go to. Nothing is too much trouble for the lovely ladies in charge. Thanks so much for giving us peace of mind that our children will be looked after while we’re at work.

Very poor service. Last year locked a kinder child outside for being naughty. Staff member was fired for miss treating a child. They will call child protection if your kid comes into the centre with a bruise. There is no care for the children just wanting money

My kids absolutely loved attending this childcare centre It’s clean, safe and kids always came home happy (and exhausted which was my favourite bit) Highly recommend for a close, family owned business
