Since the change in management and staff, Nino in Bundoora has absolutely transformed — and in the best possible way for the children. The difference is evident the moment you walk through the doors. The centre is thriving, the energy is positive, and the focus on both mental health and education is outstanding. The new sensory room is an incredible addition and has been such a hit! It’s clear so much thought, care and intention has gone into creating meaningful spaces that truly support the children’s development and wellbeing. What we love most is the atmosphere — happy, engaged children and genuinely friendly, passionate educators who clearly love what they do. The management team are approachable, supportive and deeply invested in creating a nurturing environment. It’s such a joy coming in each day and seeing the centre flourish. We couldn’t be happier! This is by far the best childcare centre in the area. We have been here for a year now and left another place for Nino Bundoora because it truly is a gem! The caring, nurturing and welcoming environment makes it a joy every day for our family. Great community and inclusive feeling. Genuine and trustworthy educators. I have a little one who started in the babies room and another one in the Kinder rooms and both have learnt so much developmental and educational-wise. I'm impressed with how well they embed First Nations perspectives into their curriculum and via their inaugural RAP. We love the artwork and craft that's on display and comes home. Everything is so thoughtful it really feels like this centre is an extension of your family. The natural outdoor environment and 'bushy' play areas are so fun and wraps around the whole centre connecting the rooms together. The food is nutritious and creative and we love the little treats parents get at pick up most days. Also appreciate the availability of daily fresh fruit as a snack the kids love taking home. The recent fish tank at reception is a fun addition! Huge shout out to Emma, the Centre Director, and her wonderful leadership team who are approachable, understanding, great communicators and take on parent feedback to keep the centre at best standards. We have a very cheeky and accident prone child (toddler boys!?), and the staff have been incredible at evolving centre policies and quick to address to ensure the safety of all children. Open from 6.30am - 6.30pm, the centre offers care for children from 6 weeks to 6 years old. The natural outdoor areas offer challenging and inspiring options for adventurous play, including forts, giant sandpits, handcrafted cubby houses, slide and even a soccer pitch.
Niño ELA chefs have developed a fresh, seasonally influenced and nutritionally balanced menu that tastes great and enhances wellbeing. All food is cooked on site daily and is adjusted for individual dietary requirements. It’s not only healthy, it’s food they’ll love to eat.
Niño ELA Bundoora offers convenient access to the M80 and has plenty of off-street parking for parents. This centre is close to RMIT Bundoora, trams to the CBD and is a ten-minute drive to ten primary schools in the area.
Niño ELA Bundoora works closely with all families to create and ensure that we have a strong and collaborative partnership with all families to support their children’s learning and development. Our educators have created strong and supporting relationships and interactions with the team and our families. Inquisitive and busy toddlers are nurtured and empowered by Niño Early Learning Adventures Bundoora’s qualified educators, giving the children a sense of ownership of their learning.
The toddler program encourages discovery, mastery and self-regulation to inspire a love of learning and a desire to explore and create. The educators work in collaboration with families on key milestones during this action-packed developmental stage, such as toilet training and independence at mealtimes.
As the children grow, they move into Niño Early Learning Adventures Bundoora’s kindergarten program to prepare them for the next stage of their life at ‘big school.’
Led by a Bachelor Qualified Teacher and a Diploma Qualified Educator, the 3 year old program is designed to help build confidence, a sense of belonging and a love of adventure. They find out what makes your child tick, what gets them excited, and factor this into their play.
In the 4 year old kindergarten program, a Bachelor Qualified Teacher and a Diploma Qualified Educator prepare individualised experiences depending on the interests of the child. They encourage them to take part in activities that they are likely to experience in primary school.
Niño ELA Bundoora is passionate about your child’s nutritional education. Children are encouraged to help plant and harvest food from the vegetable garden, share meals with their friends, and reduce their food waste by composting their scraps.

Morning
Mila is a ten-month-old little girl. Today her educators have set out some musical instruments on the mat for the children to explore. Mila chooses a tambourine and starts tapping along.
Lunch
After lunch, Mila and her friends enjoy some storytime with their educator before they are settled down for a rest.
Afternoon
Mila heads outside with her educator to inspect the vegetable garden and water the plants. Mila helps pick (and taste) some of the cherry tomatoes that are ripe and ready.
Morning
Xavier is almost two years old and he loves getting outside in the giant sandpits when he first arrives. He uses the cups, buckets and some water to create an amazing dinosaur landscape.
Lunch
Today the toddlers are helping the chef out with some cooking. Xavier gets to measure out the cups of flour and tip them into the bowl, as the chef teaches them how to make pizza dough.
Afternoon
Xavier and the toddlers race outside for some outdoor play. He heads for the forts and cubby house with his friends for some imaginary play.
Morning
Joey is almost four years old and absolutely loves sports. Today the educators have set up a game on the soccer pitch, with Joey joins in with.
Lunch
Hola! Time for Joey and the other pre-schoolers to have their Spanish lessons. Today Joey is learning the Spanish names for animals, through a fun game with his educators.
Afternoon
The children enjoy some quiet time with their educator who is running the weekly yoga class. Joey listens to her and follows her instructions, balancing carefully on one leg.
There’s no need for parents and carers to miss out on any of the joy and special moments in their child’s life. Activities, photographs and milestones can all be shared with the private online communication app, Xplor.

I’m so happy I moved my son from another centre to Nino. I love everything - the staff, the menu, and the indoor and outdoor play spaces. It’s unlike other places that are full of plastic toys and unimaginative learning. I know my son can explore outside and is will looked after. The staff are amazing, they have really gotten to know my son, his needs and how to engage him. I love the fact they are introducing additional learning programs throughout the day, such as yoga and sports class. It’s such a clean, warm and welcoming environment, and their attentional to detail – especially special touches for parents are not unnoticed. I haven’t seen any technology in the rooms, and I’m totally ok that I don’t have an app to update my son’s progress all day – I’d rather the educators educating my son then updating me through my phone all day. Thank you.

Niño ELA have been amazing with our little man. We can’t recommend them enough. Everyone knows who he is and treats him just like he is theirs. We’ve been phoned for every accident he has had and they have been wonderful dealing with his allergies. There is loads of out door play and exploration, as well as indoor activities. He is happy to be going to Niño and gets so excited he caries his bag to the car on his daycare days. All the staff have been wonderful.
