Poor management and supervision policies

Our family is deeply disturbed by an incident my young niece experienced while at this centre. She reported that while washing her hands in the bathroom, another child exposed his private parts to her.<br>Hearing this from a child so young while under professional care is extremely concerning. It raises serious questions about staff supervision and safeguarding, particularly in bathroom areas where young children are vulnerable and require active oversight.<br>There needs to be doors on the toilets. While children this age may naturally explore, that exploration cannot happen unsupervised inside the bathrooms!!!<br>Every child is entitled to their bodily privacy, even at this age. I strongly urge management to review their supervision policies and facility arrangements immediately.

I am extremely concerned and disappointed with the level of supervision and safety at this childcare centre.<br><br>I came across a 3-year-old girl who came home and told that while she was washing her hands in the bathroom, a boy showed her his private parts. The fact that this was able to happen in a childcare environment is extremely disturbing and raises serious questions about the level of supervision and safeguarding in place.<br><br>What is even more concerning is the bathroom setup.<br><br>This is not something parents should have to dismiss as “children being children.”<br><br>I find it completely unacceptable that my child could be exposed to something like this while supposedly being cared for and supervised.

I have taken care full-time my baby almost 2 years. After looking around for a while the childcares in the area. We finally decided to put our son in Wallaby and this is the best decision so far. The educators are extremely lovely, my son is happy there, prompt communication. Both Melissa and Step are very helpful, flexible and understanding with parents who are putting kid in childcare for the first time with lots of concerns and questions. Thank you Team. Sophie

I was a student there there was no communication between me and the leaders also there werent being professional arguing in front of the kids i didn't feel comfortable there anymore. I feel bad for the other students i can say one nice thing some of the teachers were nice and helpful and for that i thank u.

Our little cutie has been here for about 5 months. All staff are friendly and welcoming. Margi & Emma are lovely- always greeting us when we pass the office. The chef is so well presented and welcoming; she keeps the kitchen so so clean and my kid actually loves her food! My little one’s teacher is truely too good! Melissa! We love her. She’s so supportive, nurturing, communicative, down to earth and so warming every drop off and pickups. Our little one actually looks so happy to be there, which shows us parents that she feels safe, nurtured and developing appropriately. Thank you to Melissa and her room team educators for the patience, love, support and safety for my cutie. I would 110% recommend this centre. From a mum who worked as an educator in childcare a couple months ago and felt like I couldn’t trust a childcare again for a child. But my family and I feel cared, supported and actually know and feel our one’s safeness here. Thank you Melissa and her room team educators, Emma and Margi.

The best place for a baby that you can imagine. We have been visiting this center for many years and are happy to recommend it to all families. Wonderful friendly children, professional educators and all stuff, interesting and varied activities and delicious fresh food. Incredible views and nature around the center. Well organised! Lovely, modern decor and a warm welcoming feeling since the first day. The staff are all excellent, kind, patient and always happy to help and chat. My boy likes tends to have 2 servings of everything on offer so food must be nice! It also looks well balanced from the menu I have seen. And there's always engaging sensory activities on rotation and outdoor play. I also appreciate that I can drop him off and pick him up at any time without strict schedules! Additionally, the location is great with the golf course next door, so plenty of clean air and nice views from the upstairs outdoor area.

My daughter has been attending Wallaby since it first opened. We have been very happy with their care. My daughter loves going and has formed strong bonds with a number of the educators including Ellie Neale, Emily, Juwela, Tanya, Jenny, Kunsuni, to make but a few. She also loves the chefs cooking, Radhika.
