Nanny/Babysitter/Before & After School Carer/Creche Worker

During my time with Abracadabra, I have been responsible for the care of children ranging in age from 6 months to teenage years for both private families requiring in-home childcare support and for Corporations offering Creche Services at Conferences/Trade Shows/Events. 

Private Families Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Getting the children ready for day, dressing, breakfast and ensuring they have everything packed and ready for the day
• preparing bottles, changing nappies, feeding, settling
• organising and scheduling fun daily outings, play dates, play groups, trips to the Library, Aquarium, Zoo etc
• engaging with the children on all levels through stimulating play and age appropriate activities, arts and crafts, stories and reading, music and dance
• running errands and general houshold duties, ensure the smooth running of the household
• school drop off and pick up, attending after school activities/lessons/sports
• assisting with homework
• preparing afternoon tea and evening meal
• liaising with parents on all levels
• supervising bath-time and getting children ready for bed

Creche Worker Responsibilities & Duties: 

• Purchasing age appropriate activities for groups of children aged between 6 months and 12 yrs. 
• Creche room set up at Events/Conferences/Tradeshows
• Meeting and greeting parents upon arrival at Creche
• Engaging with the children on all levels and at all times
• Ensuring the children's safety & well being, keeping them entertained and stimulated
• Liaising with Corporate Clients
• Preparing bottles, changing nappies, feeding & settling

Duties: Caring for three children aged between 4yrs and 16yrs.  It was a very busy household with a tight schedule and routine which kept me on my toes.  

I was responsible for:

• getting the children dressed and ready in the mornings
• school drop off
• organising fun daily outings
• age appropriate and educational games/activities in the home
• preparing nutritional snacks and meals
• feeding, settling, bathing
• school pick up, attending after school activities/sports/lessons
• assisting with homework and projects
• preparing evening meal and supervising bath-time
• all associated household duties

Caring for two children aged 12 and 10yrs where I am responsible for getting the children up and ready in the morning, ensuring they have everything they need for the day, packed snacks/lunch.  School drop off and pick up, attending after school activities, assisting with homework and projects, preparing afternoon tea and evening meal, supervising bath-time and preparing children for bed.  All associated household duties.
