During my time here I cared for an elderley lady on a part-time basis in an aged care facility suffering from dementia.  I was responsible for showering, dressing, feeding and putting her to bed each day.

During this time I cared of 2 children with learning disabilities aged 4 years under the teacher supervision where I was responsible for encouraging the children to learn and develop in a way in which they understood, engaging using cards, ipad and books.  Understanding each individual child's needs and requirements.

St Joseph Primary School (2 years)

During my time with St. Josephs I assisted in the classroom with the Literacy and Numeracy programs taking small group activities under direction of the classroom teacher.  I also assisted in other school activities displaying a genuine interest and rapport with the children, staff and parents.  I took a keen interest in the various parent forums and was considered a highly valued contributor in this capacity.
