Before & After School Carer
Foster Family

Caring for one little Foster boy who has special needs.  I am responsible for getting him dressed and ready for school in the morning, ensuring he has everything he needs for the day, packed snacks/lunch, preparing afternoon tea and evening meal, stories and reading, engaging through puzzles and games, following a routine, bathing, preparing for bed and general household duties.

• I would prepare breakfast and lunch meals after school care meals for the children.
• I would clean the place immaculate after the children left and when my shift was over.
• I was very understanding of the children and would take care of them in an appropriate, mannerable and positive attitude.
• I have been put in situations where we have even had after school care lockdowns.

Volunteer Work

• 2 weeks with in school work experience at Farrer and Ainslie Nursing Home with Goodwin Aged Care Services - 2016 (assistance in ADL’s)

• I had to deal with stressful situations such as dealing with impatient customers, angry customers and also quick and intense services.
• I was always on time and most times would stay overtime.
• This was my first job being a waitress.

St Leonards Gastroenterology - Secretary

• I worked long hours from 7am-6pm in a gastroenterology in Northern Sydney
• I travelled an hour and half to Sydney since I lived on the Central Coast.
• I dealt with answering calls, booking appointments and procedures, filing and providing forms.
• I always had a positive attitude when talking to patients and making them feel welcomed.
