Sole care whilst parents work in and out of the home. Responsible for all aspects of the child’s day to day care with a special focus on sleep, self settling, routine development, bottle feeding and stimulating
excursions. Also responsible for standard nursery duties such as laundry and meal preparation. My youngest son also accompanies me.

2017 – 2017

Part time, live out carer for three boys and one girl aged from 7, 6, 4 years and 2 years.  Sole and shared care of 1-4 of the children. Responsible for all aspects of the children’s day to day care,
including stimulating excursions, children’s laundry, meal preparation, and family errands. My youngest son also accompanied me.

2012 – 2016

Part time, live-out carer for one boy aged from 5 months and one girl aged from birth.  Sole care whilst mother works in and outside of the home. Responsibilities included nursery duties, diet & meals, and developmentally appropriate activities such as play-dates and educational excursions. Also addressed infant sleeping problems by implementing a sleeping routine that allowed baby to sleep properly during the day. As of mid 2014, my eldest son also accompanied me.

Sole care of boys for one day per week. Responsible for all aspects of care, school drop off, pick up and teacher liaison. Whilst the older child was at school, the younger child had a full schedule attending playgroup and music class. During school holidays, both boys were taken on stimulating excursions.

Different assignments with the same family, including day nannying for younger children, babysitting for 4 older children, sole and shared evening care for two youngest children, shared care for all five children. Full time volunteer with abandoned babies & children aged from birth to 3 years

Working alongside other volunteers, doctors and nurses in a children’s hospital in Brasov, Romania caring for approximately 20 sick infants each day. Responsibilities included feeding, changing, bathing, dressing, playing and simply holding and loving the babies. Due to my experience, I was also able to spend time in the maternity ward with the newborns. We also distributed nappies throughout the hospital each day, and donated clothing to local families in need.
