Employment
My past experience includes extensive work as a nanny for executive families in Canberra, Sydney and the Gold Coast. I cared for children as young as zero up until the age of 12. I was involved in aspects of care, childhood education, transport, extra- curricular activities, meal preparation, light domestic duties and house-hold management.
I have now progressed in my career and taken on the new challenge of becoming a teacher. I am currently studying a Bachelor of Teaching (K-12) at the University of New England.
Until recently, I volunteered at Crookwell Public School where I assisted with providing one-on-one support for students. Occasionally I would organise and deliver lesson plans with the assistance of the teachers.
I am an experienced childcare educator looking to build my experience further in a new role. I am a well-presented individual with a caring nature and a positive attitude. I am adaptable and thrive when a challenge presents itself. I pride myself on my communication skills and my positive influence on children.
I have a passion for childcare and work to provide the best possible environment for children to learn and grow. I am able to work within the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) to ensure that children are provided with a range of educational and interesting activities. My passion has extended to further my education by studying teaching.
