VOLUNTEER EXPERIENCE
So They Can Kenya | Aberdare Ranges Primary School 2009
I spent one month in Nakuru Kenya volunteering at a primary school and orphanage for a non for profit
organisation, So They Can. This included fundraising for a new classroom and acquiring supplies both medical
and educational to give to the school on arrival. Whilst at Aberdare Ranges Primary School we provided
education to primary school aged children including health promotion and primary age education.
Port Villa Hospital | Vanuatu 2012
Whilst studying my Bachelor of Nursing I spent 2 weeks volunteering at Port Villa Hospital in Vanuatu with
Australian Catholic University. This included fundraising for the hospital and buying medical supplies to give to
the hospital. We spent one week working at the hospital helping in different department. We then spent the
second week living in a small community providing immunisations and health care promotion to many small
communities.
Volunteer Nepal | Nepal 2015
I had the pleasure of spending time volunteering as a Registered Nurse in Nepal. The opportunity to volunteer
my skills in a small clinic in remote Nepal gave me the challenge to broaden my nursing skill outside the
hospital walls and provide the unique healthcare needs for this small v
