At Holistic Dental Care, I act as the Health Information Manager.  My duties include operating systems, such as PracticeWorks online scheduler, Commonwealth Bill Pay application, and Xero accounting software;  I am responsible for following and completing the NSW ADA Accreditation program; I am responsible for patient financial arrangements, financial arrangements with Medicare and the Veterans Affairs; I am responsible for providing patients with financial quotes, using the correct clinical coding for procedures, to ensure that we comply and work with their health funds; I am aware and cautious of the clinical coding procedures and will work with health funds to ensure that I am following the correct procedures and policies; I am responsible for interviewing for office positions, as well as dental assistants; I work closely with our IT providers, as well as other practices to ensure that our practice is providing quality service to all; I have been responsible for organizing work events, such as co-practitioner functions, and informal in-house events; Organizing referral letters, as well as coordinating appointments with other practitioners; I have undertaken duties such as organizing and delivering mail, as well as calculating monthly costs for company facilities, such as phones, technology, and mail; I maintain a corporate, professional appearance and demeanor.

On a day-to-day basis, my role typically included:

• Utilizing clinical coding to arrange appointments;
• Providing patients with financial quotes, including the clinical coding and liaising with health funds;
• Provided in-house customer service to all patients;
