Employment

FEBRUARY 2015 – APRIL 2016
NANNY

In this nanny position I was responsible for the care of one 8 year old boy after school once a week. This boy had a weak core and therefore struggled with activities such as bike riding, swimming, monkey bars and general sports. The parents asked me to assist the boy with his core work in addition to helping with homework. By the end of the period the boy could successfully ride his bike and complete the monkey bars, something which looked impossible a year previous.

Have full care of the boy after school, ensure he completed his homework for the week as well as engaged in activities that would help him to develop his core more.

• Assisting with homework.
• Preparing afternoon tea.
• Encouraging the child to continue practice of activities he struggled with.
• Driving the child from school to home.
• Practicing sporting activities to help with the development of motor skills.
