Belridge Family Day Care

My 4 year old son has been cared for by Alana at Belridge Family Daycare since he was 9 months old. Alana provides a safe, clean and nurturing environment where the children have plenty of opportunity for play based learning. As an only child, my son has benefited socially from attending Alana’s day care where he has the opportunity to interact and form friendships with children of varied ages. Alana provides healthy, nutritious food for the children and allows the older children the opportunity to assist in and learn to prepare food. Alana’s seems to have an endless supply of learning materials, books, toys and games that she uses to provide activities for the children. I often arrive to find Alana and the kids playing shops, role playing, doing box constructions or paintings or ‘cooking’ in the mud kitchen. The kids have plenty of opportunity to play outdoors and Alana arranges special activities for the kids, such as trips to the library for story time or school holiday trips to farms, strawberry picking etc. Alana posts pictures of my son’s activities via an app; and as a working Mum, it is always great to see what he’s have been up to during the day. I call Alana my son’s “Weekday Mummy” as she provides the same level of care and attention to him as I do. I feel blessed that Alana has been part of my son’s early years and would recommend her highly to anyone looking for a Family Day Carer for their children. Carly W

My three children have attended Belridge Family Daycare since 2014 and I couldn't be happier with the care they have received. Alana provides such an enriching and stimulating learning environment with a strong focus on Nature play which my kids love! I love how much they are learning with Alana and the older two had such smooth transitions to school. My youngest has so much fun it's hard to get him out at the end of the day!
