We’ve had such a wonderful experience with Sagewood - Joondalup. The team is incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring, which made the transition so much easier for both of us. From day one, they created a nurturing environment where my kid felt safe, supported, and happy. What really stands out is their thoughtful Montessori approach—it’s clear they focus on encouraging independence, curiosity, and confidence in the children. I’ve noticed such positive changes in her development, especially in her ability to explore, communicate, and engage with her surroundings. The staff are not only friendly but also highly supportive and attentive. They take the time to understand each child’s needs and keep us informed, which gives great peace of mind as a parent. We first chose Sagewood Joondalup because of its Montessori philosophy, as we wanted our baby to experience and learn in that environment. Before starting, we visited the centre a few times, and the staff were always very helpful, answering all of my questions clearly via phone and email. Once our baby started childcare, we could truly see the genuine care and attention the educators put into the children. The environment feels warm, safe, and supportive. Our baby goes to daycare happy and comes home happy, which gives us great peace of mind knowing we made the right choice. Even at the end of a long and tiring day, the educators are still enthusiastic and positive when handing our baby back to us. They always take the time to share how the day went, which we really appreciate. We have also seen wonderful progress in our baby’s development. We would highly recommend Sagewood Joondalup.

Our children and our whole family truly love Sagewood Joondalup. Our kids started attending this centre when they were 14 months old, and from the very beginning until now, every educator and staff member has genuinely worked together with us as partners in raising our children. This has given us a deep sense of trust and satisfaction. To be honest, preparing lunchboxes every day can sometimes feel like a challenge. However, after visiting and comparing many other centres in the area, we found that none could match the educational philosophy and quality offered here. As parents, our goal is not to see our children as possessions, but to help them grow into independent, loving individuals. For our family, Sagewood Joondalup is the perfect place that aligns with these values. If you are parents who are looking for more than just “care,” and instead want a centre that truly focuses on both care and meaningful education, we highly recommend Sagewood Joondalup.

Wonderful daycare for my kids to thrive! My daughter had a wonderful year with Sagewood Joondalup when she turned three, she gained so much confidence speaking English and socializing; from the admin team ,the teachers, learning programs to the environment we love them all. We will come back when my second child is ready and we can’t wait to see all the familiar faces and new members :) Thanks to Sagewood Joondalup again!

Just reading some of the comments below, I can say I share the same concerns that the centre has definitely gone downhill. Sagewood as a franchise however, seems to be booming and upper management appears to love celebrating business growth and the opening of new centres. The bigger question is: how much do they really care about the children in these centres? We absolutely loved Sagewood in 2022, 2023, and 2024. After that, there were major changes in leadership and staffing resulting in over 40 educator turnovers across the Joondalup centre alone. Many educators left without any acknowledgement or communication, while others were given information that later turned out to be false yet was presented as hopeful for our children. The number of times my children came home upset because their favourite educator had suddenly left without even the chance to say goodbye, it was heartbreaking. The turnover was ridiculous. We kept our eldest enrolled as she has severe autism, PDA and ADHD. Change would have been extremely detrimental, especially being so close to commencing pre-primary. However, we made the decision to remove our 2 year old from care once our eldest graduated. This wasn’t anything personal against the new educators but we felt a growing sense of disconnection from the centre. We also experienced multiple issues with upper management that were never rectified and instead swept under the carpet. I can’t continue supporting a business like this when their intentions no longer seem focused on providing the best possible care for our children or ensuring their health and safety as a number one priority. I hope things change for the remaining families.

We moved to Sagewood Early Learning Joondalup from another centre, and the difference is honestly incredible. From the very early days, we noticed how happy, engaged, and relaxed the children are here — including our own. The environment feels calm and nurturing, yet full of curiosity and creativity thanks to its Montessori approach. The educators are genuinely caring and attentive, taking the time to get to know each child and support them as individuals. Management is very approachable and always happy to help with any question or concern, which makes us feel supported as parents. Our little one has blossomed since joining Sagewood — her confidence, independence, and enthusiasm for learning have grown so much. Sagewood truly sets the standard for what early learning should be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sagewood Joondalup is a wonderful Montessori daycare with caring, friendly staff who truly support each child’s development. I love that they teach protective behaviours ( Safe for kids program) and emotional literacy (ELMA) – my child is learning to understand feelings, stay safe, and speak up with confidence. It’s more than just childcare – it’s giving children skills for life. They offer the opportunity for parents to come in to do observations of your child's learning and have interactive activities for mothers day etc.

From the moment we toured this daycare, we knew it was something unique. The environment is calm, nurturing, and genuinely child-focused. It’s clear that the well-being of the children comes first in everything they do. The staff go above and beyond—not just for the children, but for the families as well. They’re always willing to help with anything, no matter how big or small, and their warmth and support make all the difference. Our son had always found drop-offs difficult, but the team worked patiently and compassionately to help him feel safe, secure, and settled. We noticed a huge change in his confidence and comfort thanks to their care. Communication is outstanding. We always feel informed, included, and confident that our child is being truly looked after. Having experienced other daycares in the past, this one stands out as something entirely different. It’s not just a child-minding service—it’s a place where children and their families are genuinely cared for.

Once a 5 Star Centre, Now a Shadow of Its Former Self Sagewood Joondalup was an amazing centre. Warm, nurturing, and filled with passionate educators who genuinely cared and knew every child and parent by name. It was a place our kids loved going to. They felt safe, happy, and excited to learn. But sadly, that Sagewood is gone. Over a short period, the entire original leadership team and almost all of the long standing educators left. Many all at once. There was no communication from management to parents about what was going on. No reassurance. Nothing. What followed was a constant stream of new staff, many of whom didn’t know who the children or their parents were, which raised serious safety concerns. Especially around the sign out process. Then, within days of the leadership change, a skip bin appeared in the car park and was quickly filled with Montessori materials that had been central to the centre’s philosophy. Again, no communication. No explanation. Just silence. It didn’t exactly fill parents with confidence or peace of mind. Naturally, parents had questions. We wanted to know what was happening to the centre we trusted with our children. But instead of transparency, we were met with dismissal. Concerns were brushed off, and when parents tried to speak up, a message from the COO was sent out telling us to stop gossiping. That tone, the contempt and disregard for genuine parental concern, was the final straw. Many of us witnessed bullying behaviour from the new management. Honestly, it seemed to start from the top. It created an environment that no longer felt safe or nurturing for our kids. The love and care that once defined Sagewood was gone. I really hope the Sagewood board takes notice and steps in to fix what is broken. This centre was something special, and it can be again. But only if the problomatic leadership is addressed. Because at the end of the day, it should be about the kids.

So happy with this lovely Montessori daycare. My baby 17 month old is so happy and learning new things very fast. Teachers are so professional and empathic with babies❣️ Recommend 💯
