Prefacing this review that I was considering seeking daycare through this business upon my son turning 3. My mother and 14 month old went on a walk they regularly take this morning. My 14 month old stopped and was looking through the bars of the outside area where the children were playing. A younger blonde worker enquired if my mother was look at care for him there, when she said no, the worker advised them to “move on” Then when my mother indicated this was rude given he’s a 14 month old she came back with another worker telling her to move him on. Whilst I support children’s safety and would call myself vigilant about this. This was totally rude and lacked professionalism given he’s a baby. Had this been a teenager or sole adult or group of adults looking into the outdoor area, I would understand this and support it but if this is the lack of compassion staff show a baby I will not look at care through this company and having grown up in this suburb will tell others of the level of rudeness displayed today. Get some customer service training in for this people asap!

Goodstart Early Learning Ocean Reef is hands down the best daycare centre in Perth. The educators and staff are experienced, knowledgeable, kind and nurturing. They have created a wonderful and welcoming environment for my 6 month old daughter, making the transition to daycare so positive. They tailor their care to her individual needs and send through photo updates which I love. I couldn’t speak more highly of the centre and recommend it to anyone looking for quality daycare.

Nothing but good things to say about Goodstart Ocean Reef. My daughter started going here when she was eight months old and loved every second she was there (it was even hard to bring her home sometimes). She was in two different rooms during her time there and the carers in both rooms are beyond amazing (Chelsea, Selina, Birender, Maryanne, Sarah, Hali, Ashleigh, Taylor). They do anything to help the students progress in their development. I can’t imagine where my child would be at without being here. At 19 months old her language, social and motor skills are beyond that of expected for her age and it is definitely down to the range of activities and learning provided for her at Goodstart. All the staff members are so welcoming and lovely, especially Kacey and Rachel who it was so great to chat to every morning. Unfortunately we had to move due to moving out of the area but we were absolutely heartbroken to leave and the whole centre was sad to see us go. They made us feel so special and valued. We will miss Goodstart Ocean Reef terribly!

I hardly know where to begin, but I vividly recall our very first day at Goodstart. During the tour, I shared our previous daycare experience with Kacey. I'll never forget her reassuring words, 'I'm sorry your previous experience wasn't great, but let's start anew. I promise Toby will love it here.' She was absolutely right! Toby adores being here, and every step of his journey has been incredible. Our previous daycare labeled my son 'too sensitive' and couldn't accommodate him, even though he was only one at the time. But at Goodstart, Toby is seen as a superstar :). Our son has since been diagnosed with ASD and GDL, and every team member has held our hands, providing unwavering support. They continue to stand by us, and we feel incredibly blessed knowing that our little boy has the most extraordinary educators by his side. They love him, support him, and consistently go above and beyond to ensure inclusion and enhance their skills to work with autism. Thank you, Kacey, Gabby, Chantel, Liam, Daniel, Mary, Rachel, Birender, Courtney the girls from Nursey too, Maryanne, Chelsea and Selina and all the others educators that have been part of his journey :) Our family's gratitude knows no bounds! My eldest started at the centre in 2020 and I’ve since started my second as well. I’ve always been really happy but also now feel part of a family. All staff are very friendly and welcoming. My 3yo still struggles with the transition at drop off and everybody from the Director, admin, or educators in other rooms all launch in without hesitation (and a smile) every time to help get him to switch into daycare mode (he absolutely loves it the moment I leave). I love that feedback is passed on daily and we get heaps of photos to update what the kids have been up to during the day. My daughter is also soy and dairy free and the centre has been wonderful at accommodating this.

Our daughter has been attending Goodstart Ocean Reef for a few months now and we couldn’t be happier with the facility and staff. She has built great relationships with the educators and is always happy when we pick her up.

My toddler has been going to Goodstart Early Learning Ocean Reef since he was 1 and has been transitioned through 3 different rooms. Every educator and every room he has been in has been outstanding. It is clear how much the educators love and adore the children, and it's clear how much my son loves going.

Enrolled our girl in Nursery 1 when she was 4 months old. And now she is in Kindy. She is still there and this shows that the educators are doing great job 👍🏼in her developmental milestones. She is happy and made great little group of friends. We have also enrolled our boy in Nursery 1 and he is happy as well.

My children have been with the centre for almost 3 years! I can not fault the staff and the environment one bit. The nurturing of my kids social, emotional, cognitive and physical development is amazing and comforting for the family to know that there has been no push and is all self-guided and child focused. They have encouraged my children to grow into the little humans they are today. Entering the centre to gorgeous smiling faces each day sets a precedence for my day as well as my babies. Thank you for everything you do for our family.

Excellent centre with wonderful staff. My kids receive such great care at Goodstart Ocean Reef.
