Three Bears Kindergarten was more than just a childcare center — it was a truly warm and supportive place where our daughter felt happy and safe every day. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with kindness and smiles. As newcomers to Australia with limited English, we were nervous at first, but the wonderful staff made us feel reassured and supported at every step. Our daughter genuinely enjoyed attending kindy. She loved her teachers and friends, and the daily activities were always fun, creative, and full of care. Week by week, we saw her become more confident and joyful. The teachers took the time to understand each child, and that thoughtful, individual attention meant so much to us. We are deeply thankful for the love and care our daughter received. It’s very difficult to leave because of our move — we would have loved to stay longer. Out of all the kindergartens we’ve experienced in both Korea and Australia, this was by far the best.

The teachers here are very warm, caring and thoroughly professional. My kids were very shy and reserved when they started at Three Bears Kindy intially. However, as time passed, they gradually gained more confidence and had a pretty solid foundation when they were ready to start their big school journey. Easily the best preschool in Hornsby! :)

The best preschool I have seen, and I’ve seen many. Happy, engaged, playful children. Quietly spoken caring educators. My grandchildren excelled in the company of this preschool.
The Three Bears Kindergarten is a well established, extended hours preschool which caters for only 29 children per day, between the ages 3-5 years. The limited number ensures individual attention for each and every child.
They are especially proud of their huge, well shaded outside area where the children can use their imaginations all year round. Their outside area is an inviting, natural setting which encourages a multitude of different play experiences. Children in their playground can sit in the shade and talk, dig, play with water or sand, observe insects and birds, run with a ball, roll in the grass, run, chase and hide from each other, play with toys or talk to a teacher.
They provide an important framework upon which program decisions are made by including educators, families and the wider community. They encourage all staff and families to be familiar with the centre philosophy and to be involved in its annual evaluation.
