Our daughter has attended Kindalin Glenhaven for the past two years and we are very happy to be a Kindalin family! Kindalin has always set goals and are working towards things that our daughter is struggling with, at the perfect time. We are very grateful to work in partnership with the staff and feel that we are heard and supported. The relationships developed between our daughter and staff, as well as they effort they put into the learning is fantastic and it is why I wanted to send our children to Kindalin. We are confident that our young son will have the experience as he grows at Kindalin too.

The semi-rural centre is open from 7.00am until 6.30pm and the children love the expansive outdoor play areas. Full of trees, sandpits, a huge cubby house and a natural rock formation that’s popular for water play.
With over 35 years of experience, Kindalin aims to provide every child with a stimulating and challenging environment in which to grow and learn.
The Kindalin philosophy and curriculum are based on years of experience and up-to-date early childhood research which recognises the importance of children’s active, hands on involvement in their learning.
Parents at the centre share that they love the home-like feeling of the space, and that it feels like an extension of their own family. Care is available for children 6 weeks up to 5 years.

Tommy loves attending Kindalin, in fact, it can be hard to get him to leave in the afternoon. This reassures me that we have chosen the best Early Learning Centre for our boys.

10 weeks - 2.5 years
Babies use their senses to begin to investigate their environment. As they get older, they start to show more interest in moving objects, colourful mobiles and gentle movement with an educator. Older babies become reliant on the familiar adults that care for them. They become more inquisitive about how the world works and will interact with other children or objects in their space.
2.5 - 3.5 years
This is the age where friendships really blossom and the children can learn social skills together as they play. They’re learning about taking turns, sharing toys, working together and building resilience.
3 - 4 years
The children in this room are keen to learn and discover, share their ideas, and of course play. They begin to explore different ways of presenting information to others, including writing, speech and artwork.
4 - 5 years
The inquisitive little learners in this room are learning to become more independent learners. They’re ready to tackle tasks on their own, and can understand simple instructions. Educators work to get them ready for the next steps in their education.
Every day we make meaningful and lasting contributions to the children in our care. The highlight of my job is waking each day, not knowing what lies ahead and what joy I will see on the children’s faces.

Morning
Elizabeth is nine months old and absolutely loves playing in the huge undercover sandpit. There are buckets and spades to help her move the sand around, and educators on hand to give her ideas for what to do next.
Lunch
Elizabeth and some of the other babies sit together in their high chairs to enjoy their healthy lunch, and then settle down for a story and a nap, to recharge for the afternoon.
Afternoon
Creativity is encouraged, and that means that Elizabeth can enjoy some fingerpainting this afternoon. The nursery children are free to get messy in the name of art.
Morning
Harvey is 14 months old and could just play all day long. One of his favourite games is ‘fire brigade.’ The children don their fire helmets and jump on the toy fire engine for some role play.
Lunch
The toddlers love getting out into the rocky water play area. Harvey and his friend James build dams, race boats through the water, and collect buckets of water to move to other areas.
Afternoon
The children take some books outside and set up under the teepee for some quiet reading time. Harvey and James head to the sandpit to use the digger and pretend to be builders. There’s lots of work to be done!
Morning
Florence has just turned three and looks forward to getting creative at pre-school. The children are set up with paints, easels and brushes for their outdoor art lesson. Florence is going to paint a picture of a sunny day at the beach.
Lunch
After a healthy lunch, Florence and her friends enjoy a visit to the local library, where they are free to look around and check out some books. Florence chooses a book about ballerinas, and can’t wait to show it to her mum when she gets home.
Afternoon
The educators have set up a fun game of outdoor volleyball in the playground. Florence and the other children take turns serving the ball and trying to send it back. Florence used to be a bit scared of the ball, but not anymore!

Kindalin Glenhaven is a home away from home. Our girls loved every minute of being here and it has made it impossible to find a new day care after we moved out of the area. Thank you to the amazing staff for giving every day 110% and making daycare a fun place to learn and grow for our girls.

An Exceptional Childcare Centre! We couldn’t be happier with the care and support our children receive. Megan is absolutely wonderful—she is not only kind and beautiful, but also incredibly supportive. The educators at the centre are truly the best. I have one son in the Koala Room and another in the Possum Room, and both of them love their educators. It gives me so much confidence and peace of mind dropping them off each morning, knowing they are in such caring and capable hands. They truly deserve a 5-star rating!
