What a little gem of a centre! I was surprised as I walked in and was greeted with a bubbly and friendly centre director, who made us feel welcomed instantly. She engaged well with my child as we entered the front door and he was comfortable to interact with her instantly. The centre seemed to be having some maintenance done, but the children were all playing and seemed happy. There were adequate toys and experiences set up for the children and none of them looked bored. The teachers spoke to us about the learning that happens throughout the day and also seemed nice and friendly. While we were visiting we saw a few parents come collect their children from the centre and seemed very comfortable in interacting with the whole team. I cant wait until we move to the area to enroll our child here. We toured many centres in the area, and this little gem, is our choice for childcare. It just felt comfortable and like an extension our home.

Do not send your children to this childcare centre! I had heard negative things about this Goodstart centre but still decided to book a tour because it’s close to our home. Unfortunately, the poor reputation turned out to be true. During the tour, we witnessed older children chasing and harassing younger ones with no staff intervention. The outdoor yard looked messy and dirty, with toys scattered everywhere—I nearly tripped several times. The staff in the office (not sure  she was the director or receptionist) was impatient and unwilling to answer our questions, even though this was our first childcare search and we had many concerns. Meanwhile, other staff were chatting instead of supervising the children. We saw everything with our own eyes and decided never to return. Choosing another centre was the right decision for us. Our child is now happily enrolled at another Childcare Centre( at Chatsworth road), which has an excellent reputation and truly provides quality care every day.

(Updated) After eight months at the centre, we’re still so glad we made the move here. From the beginning it has felt like a calm, welcoming place where the educators genuinely care about the children. I have two boys and they both love their educators and feel comfortable and happy at the centre. They ask to go with excitement every morning, and as soon as they see their educators they run over to ask for a hug. I also really appreciate that they get to spend time together in the outdoor area, which gives them some lovely sibling time during the day. The rooms and outdoor spaces are always well set up, and there’s a good balance between learning, play and routine. After going through six different centres with my first child due to moving house and other circumstances, this one is our absolute favourite. It’s been such a relief to find a centre that feels stable, well run and consistent. Communication has been great — we get regular updates and photos via app and also drop offs/pick ups and all educators are very approachable, and it’s always clear what the kids have been doing and learning. There are also lots of little events and activities that make the days fun and keep the kids engaged. Recent Christmas party was very well organised and the gifts we received were very thoughtful. We’re also really happy with Erin as the new Centre Director. She’s very experienced and approachable, and it’s reassuring to know the centre is in good hands. Overall, we feel confident leaving our kids here each day and would happily recommend the Park Street centre to any family looking for a caring, trustworthy childcare centre.

As a first time mum I was nervous about sending my 6 month old to day care at the beginning of this year. Once I completed a walk through and met the main educator who would be in the nursery, I felt such relief. I cannot speak more highly of the team, all so warm and welcoming! Our son loves everyone so much and he’s developed so well in the last 3 months which I strongly attribute to the care and attention provided. We would strongly recommend this centre and love that they continually strive to be the best they can be.

Fantastic centre with lovely staff and a wonderful environment for the children to learn and play. We have loved our time at Park St since day 1 and our son gets excited to point it out every time we drive past :)

We’ve been sending our two girls to Goodstart Park St for the last 12 months and have always had a really good experience there. The staff are very caring and friendly and really look after the kids. They always have a wide variety of activities on offer and I know our girls have developed a lot since attending daycare. Most times the girls don’t want to leave when we come to pick them up so I always feel that’s a good sign. I would be happy to recommend Goodstart Park St to anybody looking for a good daycare :)

We have recently moved to goodstart park st, following the flooding of our other centre. Whilst nervous at first, my 3 boys have adjusted and feel a sense of belonging. The educators take time to greet you and get to know your children, being supported to say goodbye at the “bye bye box” makes daycare a breeze. The new director Erin has many many years of experience under her belt and I know my children are in a great environment to thrive whilst I am working :) thanks Park st🥰

We’ve left due to the incompetent and untrustworthy management. Don’t go here, most of the other families have left for the same reasons.

We were searching for daycare centers, and when I first saw this one, I told my husband, “There’s no need to even check it out—it doesn’t seem good, and the location isn’t ideal for us.” We were looking for something new, clean, and welcoming. My husband insisted we go in just for a quick look, even though I was almost certain we wouldn’t enroll our son here. To my surprise, the moment we stepped inside, everything changed. The staff greeted us warmly, and the atmosphere was so inviting. We toured the facility with our 4-year-old son Noni, and he absolutely loved it. For the first time ever, he confidently said, “I want this daycare!” I was thrilled to see his excitement. A huge thank you to the center’s director, my son’s teacher, and the entire team. This is the first time I’ve ever been fully satisfied with a daycare center. They’re incredibly flexible with fees and schedules, showing that their primary goal isn’t profit—it’s truly the children’s development and happiness. I’ve seen remarkable progress in my son since he joined. If I could, I’d rate them 10 stars! Highly recommended!
