Choosing a daycare for your children is such a big and emotional decision, and I honestly couldn’t be more grateful that we found this centre. From the moment we walk in, we’re always greeted with genuine warmth, kindness and positivity. The educators put so much thought into using everyday resources creatively, helping the children learn, grow and develop in ways that feel natural and joyful. What really sets this centre apart is its smaller size. In a world of large, busy centres, this one feels calm, personal and deeply nurturing. Every child is truly seen, known and supported as an individual. The educators are incredibly trustworthy and always open, communicative and understanding. As someone without immediate family here in Melbourne, this centre has become a huge source of support for our family, it truly feels like a village. As a parent of fussy eaters, I can’t praise them enough for the meals and snacks they provide. Not only are they nutritious, but they’re genuinely delicious and my children actually eat them! Knowing my kids are being well nourished as well as cared for gives me such peace of mind. We feel so lucky to be part of the Back to Basics community. It’s more than a daycare…. it feels like family.

Back to Basics Early Learning Centre in Hoppers Crossing has been part of our family for over seven years. Both our children attended from as young as three months old, and the care, communication, and genuine personal attention have always been outstanding. This centre truly feels like a home, not a rulebook-driven childcare. We always felt safe and confident leaving our kids here. During a challenging time, the team even went above and beyond to help us with pick-ups and drop-offs—something they never had to do, but did out of pure care. Today was our youngest child’s last day, and it was emotional for all of us. If you live in Hoppers Crossing and they have availability, don’t look elsewhere. Highly recommended.

Our child has been attending Back To Basics since August 2024, starting in the baby room, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. A very special mention must go to Marie, who has been the primary educator looking after our little one. The level of hospitality, love, and genuine care Marie provides is exceptional. From day one, she has created such a comforting environment that we feel completely at ease leaving our child in her hands. It’s not just about care, though—the learning and development we’ve seen in our baby since joining have been wonderful. The warmth and dedication of the staff at this centre are truly what set it apart. We are glad that we found Back To Basics Childcare. After visiting several childcare facilities, we ended up choosing Back To Basics and we are really happy with our choice. It is very warm, friendly and has taken care of our daughter during last few years. The facility is very clean, spacious, cheerful and all the staff are kind and amazing. Since day one of sending our son to Back to Basics, I have not had one regret.Our child has been a member of the Back to Basics family for over three years, having started at the early learning center when he was just eight months old. Every educator has always been wonderfully responsive and supportive. He transitioned to childcare with ease, and his surroundings have remained stimulating, caring, and rewarding. He is well-fed with well-balanced meals, but more significantly, the management and chef are more than willing to meet any special dietary needs or requirements that our child may have. My 4 year old son is learning so many things and having quality time with lovely staff and friends. He feels comfortable and cared for and that is evident from the time he is dropped off to the time I pick him up. He goes with a smile and comes home with a smile. I would definitely recommend anyone who is looking for a wonderful place to send your beloved children. My daughter Jia Patel started with back to basics in 2019 .Finally she kinder graduated in 2022 . Amazing Staff with so much heart and caring mindset. It’s wonderful seeing our daughter get excited about going to childcare here at back to basics . The teachers really make an effort to engage the kids and develop them in very individual way. The management Roshni and Meetu very committed to providing a safe , fun and loving environment. We are very thankful to Roshni, Meetu, kinder teacher Harleen and all other teachers who supported my daughter throughout her journey to back to basics .
