Selecting the right daycare is one of the most important decisions a parent can make, and I can confidently say that this center is one of the best in the Tarneit area. The level of care provided here is exceptional. It is clear that the children aren't just supervised, but are truly cared for in a warm and nurturing environment. The teachers are professional, approachable, and deeply invested in the well-being of every child. What stands out most is their focus on personal growth. Since starting here, I’ve noticed a significant positive shift in my child’s confidence and social skills. The educators (Kiran, Maninder, Komal, Dee, Shreya and many more) go above and beyond to encourage independence and development through engaging, thoughtful activities. I highly recommend this center to any local families looking for a safe, supportive, and enriching environment for their little ones!

About Grow Early Education Tarneit

Grow Early Education Tarneit, is designed to be a home-away-from-home for our families. Our established centre has been operating in the Tarneit community since 2009 and is staffed by passionate, long-term Educators.

Our all-inclusive fee is extremely convenient and includes:

  • Nappies, wipes, sunscreen and bed linen
  • All meals provided and tailored to your child’s dietary requirements
  • Extra-curricular activities
  • Hat & water bottle upon enrolment
  • Barista coffee for parents and a parents lounge to relax in
  • Family Communication Mobile App

Our classrooms are designed so children feel inspired as they learn and play. We embrace technology, and our centre is equipped with interactive whiteboards and iPads. We offer 3 and 4-Year-Old Funded Kinder to our families to equip your child with the skills needed for a successful transition to primary school. We have built connections with Baden Powell College, to assist your child’s transition to primary school.

Our newly- renovated large outdoor play areas are a haven of fun and exploration for children. Your child will enjoy playing with their peers and exploring our sandpits, adventure forts, and vegetable and herb gardens. Our playgrounds are currently under renovation and we have some very exciting new additions! We are very much looking forward to sharing them with you.

As part of your daily fee, your child will enjoy extracurricular activities including yoga lessons, Little Sports Heroes fitness program, and cooking classes. We also incorporate gardening and sustainability lessons into our programs as we believe we play an important role in teaching children to love and respect our natural world. Children also enjoy cooking experiences and community walks.

What the parents say

What the parents say

As a rotating roster worker they are always willing to work with our needs. We cannot thank Frances and her team for looking after and caring for our children over the past almost 5 years, and recommend this place highly to anyone looking for an Early Learning Facility.

Parent

Can't speak highly enough of the staff and facilities at Imagine Tarneit. My (almost 3yo) daughter still attends and has done since she was 8 months - she absolutely adores the staff and kids there. My son has since started school but always loves returning during school holidays for vacation care. Don't hesitate to give Frances a call to set up a tour.

Parent

Staff here are wonderful and very attentive to the kids. Always greet the children by name and with a smile. I have no hesitation recommending this centre to anyone.

About the curriculum

About the curriculum

Educators focus on developing the children’s independence skills, as children learn to move around, feed themselves and self-select toys.

Meet the team

Meet the team

The centre has been running since 2005 and has many bilingual Educators, who are fluent in Bengali, Malayalam, Punjabi, Guajarati, Hindi and Telugu.  The centre celebrates all cultural celebrations such as Holi, Ramadan, Naidoc, and Christmas. The Educators seek to create a place that nurtures children while also encouraging them to be curious explorers.

Many Educators have been with the centre since it opened and the majority of the Educators are long-term.  Educators network closely with local schools to help the children’s transition to school.

I love working at Imagine Tarneit in my role as 2IC as I found the families and team to be very welcoming and supportive.  I love working at a centre that has such a diverse cultural mix.

Educator

I have been working at the centre for 15 years; 13 years as an Educator before I took on the new role as centre chef.  I love planning all the meals for the children and make sure they have a healthy and nutritious meal.  I missed working directly with the children, so I now open and work with children in the morning before cooking their yummy meals.

Health & nutrition

Health & nutrition

At Imagine Tarneit, the children enjoy a wide variety of seasonal and local produce, with a menu that provides more than half of their daily nutrition requirements. The centre works in consultation with families to accommodate any child’s allergies, intolerances, their cultural background or other family preferences.

Mealtimes provide an important opportunity for children to develop good eating habits and learn about nutrition and food variety. They are also an important time for social interaction with other children and adults.

The Educators adopt meal time strategies to teach children about good nutrition. These include things like involving children in creating the menu, encouraging younger children and toddlers to talk about healthy food choices, providing children with opportunities to eat food and engage in the mealtime routines of different cultures, talking with children about nutritious food during mealtimes.

The parents don’t miss out either, with the centre’s own barista providing fresh coffee and a baked treat every morning upon drop-off to make mornings easier.

Grow has been an amazing place for my child to attend. All the educators are amazing and always go above and beyond to support the children. ACE program at Grow has been very helpful for my son to improve his speech and overall development. I highly recommend this centre.

My son has been enrolled at this service since he was 8 weeks old, and throughout that time I have experienced nothing but love and care towards him. He has always been very well looked after by all of the educators. As a first-time mum, I felt very anxious in the beginning, but the educators made me feel at ease straight away. Clear communication and guidance were always provided, so I never felt confused or unsupported. Kindyhub has also been a wonderful tool, allowing educators to personalise my son’s eating and sleeping routines and keep families informed. What has always stood out to me about this service is the genuine way the educators and management connect with families. They are always happy to assist and clearly take great pride in their work. Thank you for making my son’s experience so positive and special. We are so grateful for all the care, support, and effort you have given him. We look forward to another year here before he graduates from kinder and takes the next big step into school life. Much appreciate all the efforts🙂
