Our high-quality, play based preschool curriculum is delivered by Bachelor qualified Early Childhood Teachers. Our teachers tailor their programs to ensure all children develop the confidence and social and emotional skills needed for a smooth transition to school. Through play, our Early Childhood Teachers facilitate children’s learning of important language, literacy, numeracy and creative skills.

Goodstart Early Learning uses the StoryPark app to connect with parents throughout the day. The educators upload photos and stories to the secure app, which parents can access anytime and anywhere to track their child’s progress.

They develop trust so the children can feel safe and secure while at the centre. Parents are also encouraged to share their insights and feedback with educators to add depth to the relationship.

Hi, I’m Shaheen Hulavale and I’m the Centre Director here at Goodstart Rowville - Stud Road.
I moved to Australia in 2013. I have a completed my Master’s in Clinical Research (Pharmacy) and have worked in different sectors of pharmacy for nine years.
I hold an Advanced Diploma in Leadership and Management and a Diploma in Children’s Services and Community Sector. I have been in the industry for eight years and have spent time working with all age groups and have been part of the leadership team for two years.
In my role as a Centre Director, I will have the opportunity to lead and empower a team of Educators to provide high quality learning outcomes for the children and a strong connection with families and community.
I strongly believe in the saying “It takes a village to raise a child” and hence strive to provide a home away from home environment for children and families which is safe and secured providing a strong sense of belonging to the children and the families.
We encourage children to learn at their own pace through play-based learning in high-quality educational programs and have opportunities to explore their environments to build strong social, language, and emotional skills.
I value parents as our children’s first teachers as my vision is to ensure that all our families and children feel secure and supported here at the centre A place where they feel safe, respected and supported and included socially and emotionally. Being a mum myself, I understand the importance for families to find a perfect place for their children where along with the children achieving their milestones can have their feedbacks and suggestions incorporated in the child’s development positively.
I love to connect with the wider community, families and learn about different cultures. We often incorporate this learning to educate our children and shape them into individuals who can contribute positively to the community. I feel fortunate to be a part of a great community where I can connect and collaborate with local businesses and schools for a purpose.
When I’m not in the centre, I love working out, going for walks or spending time with my family especially my two girls, most likely at the parks and beaches.

I 100% recommend Goodstart Early Learning Centre ( Stud Rd ) Rowville. It’s like a home away from home , for my children. The director, educators , office staff, ladies in the kitchen are exceptional. The play based curriculum, the opportunity to learn about all cultures, is amazing !!!!. The attention to every childs individuality and needs is taken into account on a daily basis. The educators are loving, caring and supportive not just for the children but for the whole family. The school preparation in the kinder room , makes transitioning to school that much easier. Make sure to check out the menu , it’s amazing. The children never come home hungry , quite often they tell me they had two servings of lunch. I will be very sad when our journey ends at the centre, but forever grateful to the educators that have cared and nurtured my children over the years

From a mum that has been through different centres, goodstart stud rd is a stand-out! Incredible centre, all rooms are spaced well and absolutely full of different activities! Outside play areas are amazing with lots of shared spaces for siblings! My kids have absolutely started to thrive from the level of care they are receiving! Good communication from staff, they are very caring and treat all the kids like family! I love the sense of community and security we feel very welcomed and safe here.

My son has recently started attending this centre and i am really glad i chose this centre after visiting quite a few in the area. The educators are really caring and patient with my son and he has bonded well with the teachers very quickly. The educators are making a great deal of an effort to make my child as comfortable as possible. Even the Centre Manager takes the time out to be with the kids. Satisfied 😊
