It’s a small centre and the outdoor play area probably requires some renovation. There are also male and female educators in the 0-3 group. The teachers are very lovely but in the 0-3 group, I find the age-mix unsupportive to the older children as the younger children probably require more attention from the teachers. This could be quite challenging for teachers to navigate as well. They will somehow have to cater to the needs of very young children (babies) as well as children just under the age of 3 who have vastly different needs. I think it’s best to have separate classes for the different age groups but I understand that this may not be possible as the class space is small. In all honestly, this childcare centre is average at best.

I visited this centre recently for a tour and wanted to share my experience for other parents considering it. While the tour was informative overall, I witnessed something that deeply concerned me. During the visit, I saw a staff member (a kindergarten assistant) speak sharply to a young child from across the room and give him a harsh look. When we returned from viewing the playground, that same child was sitting alone at a table. I mentioned this to the tour guide, who immediately dismissed my concern, insisting the staff member was “just being firm” and that “some children need that.” I found this response quite invalidating—as a parent, I would expect more empathy and openness, especially when it comes to how children are treated. The final moments of the tour left me feeling uncomfortable and certain that this isn’t the right environment for my child. I’ve since shared my experience with my mum group, as reputation and trust within the parent community are incredibly important. I hope this feedback encourages the centre to reflect on staff communication styles and how they respond to parent concerns. First impressions really matter—especially when it comes to our kids.

It’s been 30 days since our 2-year-old son joined Aurora Early Education Rowville. He is able to sit with the educator and play independently now. As parents, we couldn’t be happier with the environment, quality of care, and the teaching staff. The educators are incredibly nurturing and attentive, always keeping us informed about our son’s development and progress. The facilities are clean and safe, with a fantastic outdoor play area perfect for little ones to explore. The variety in the curriculum is another highlight, as it really helps stimulate our son’s creativity and interest in learning. My son joined Aurora Early learning Education in Rowville at beginning of 2022. Coming from another really horrible early learning centre, I was monitoring everything they did at Aurora. After a few months, I found that early learning education can be a breeze if done properly. My son grew to love Aurora and so did we. I can highly recommend Aurora Rowville for child care needs. Our daughter has been at the Rowville centre for 12 months (and the Aurora QV centre for 6 months prior) and has absolutely adored her time there. The educators are professional, reassuring, always friendly and you can see that they genuinely enjoy their jobs. They help make children and families feel comfortable at a time that can be quite daunting. Our daughters language skills, imagination, confidence and ability to create friendships has improved exponentially since attending. Our experience has been incredibly positive and we can not thank Kirby and the Aurora team enough for the wonderful service they provide.

Some areas may feel outdated or in need of refurbishment. Despite the need for facility upgrades, the quality of care and education provided by the staff remains exceptional. The educators' professionalism and genuine love for their work significantly contribute to the positive experience children have at Aurora. Investing in enhancing the facilities would elevate the overall experience for the children, parents and educators, making Aurora Early Education an even more outstanding place for early childhood development.

Aurora Rowville is a great place. Friendly, professional and supportive staff. Various interesting activities for kids. Our kid has developed so much since joined. Our kid loves this place and her educators very much.

Aurora Early Education in Rowville has been a second home to our children since 2020. All the staff at the centre (educators, teachers, office and kitchen) are incredibly warm and friendly. The educators have built a strong and special connection with our children. It's been great to watch our children grow in an environment where they are surrounded by engaging educators. We love the multi-age learning structure and cultural diversity that Aurora offers with the celebration of many cultural days. Kirby is amazing and her level of professionalism is next level. She always goes above and beyond to support and accommodate our needs. We do not live locally but the commute to Aurora is well and truly worth the travel. Aurora have exceeded our expectations with the level of commitment, dedication and care. We are truly grateful to be part of the Aurora community and would highly recommend the service.

Aurora has been a second home for my now 3 year old who started during peak COVID times as a 5 month old baby. Aurora welcomed us with warm cuddles and super cool activities. We can see how my little one has been blossoming into this kind, confident and very passionate child and it wouldn't have been possible without the very awesome educators and staff at Aurora.
