The KU program provides the children with a range of different activities and experiences to support their learning. From gardening to arts and crafts, music, movement and literacy, numeracy and scientific concepts, the program helps to build the children’s confidence as capable and active learners.

KU Kogarah Children’s Centre also has a specialist cultural competence and inclusion program. The children learn about cultural traditions and celebrate the multicultural tapestry of the centre.

The KU curriculum includes a mix of large and small group experiences that help to build the children’s leadership and communication skills. Through interactive and hands-on activities, the children develop a sense of their unique selves and a feeling of belonging.

The curriculum aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and the preschool program helps to prepare the children for the transition to school. The educators invite participation, research, inquiry and exploration from the children so they can drive their own learning and develop important critical thinking skills.

The early childhood educators at KU Kogarah Children's Centre are highly qualified and experienced. They nurture each child in their care to thrive and reach their full potential. The educators create a warm and caring environment where positive interactions flourish and all children feel included and welcomed.
