My two children went through KU Kira under Kate and now Bhavisha as centre directors and it was the most caring, fun, and supportive place. They have excellent communications and the kids have such great relationships with the educators, and above all that the kids always have fun and feel safe. Kellie in the office is a joy and always makes stuff work for you, I just can't recommend this school enough. I found it through a recommendation, and it made life so much easier. I hope this is the recommendation someone else needs to make their life easier too.

Kira goes beyond childcare. We create a safe and nurturing environment where childhood is celebrated.
We are proud of our longstanding reputation within the Paddington community of providing rich education and care tailored to each child’s needs in a family-focussed and supportive way.
Our highly experienced and dedicated teachers and educators build strong, trusting relationships with each child, fostering a sense of belonging and confidence.
Kira is a rare inner-city oasis with an expansive, natural outdoor space that has real grass and trees, inspiring children’s love for outdoor exploration and play.
When children play and explore, their imagination and curiosity are sparked – they enjoy learning, and are inspired to continue learning more.
Our play-based program intentionally provides a wide range of engaging opportunities and activities based on the Early Years Learning Framework.
We encourage children to explore in our expansive outdoor space, promoting an active and healthy lifestyle. A broad range of activities are offered including social exploration, physical activity, sand and mud play, and a seasonal vegetable garden.
Kira has been independently assessed by the NSW Department of Education, and are proud to be rated as Meeting the National Quality Standard.
We believe that the positive interactions children have with our staff are the most important component of our high quality program. Our team of teachers and educators are qualified, experienced, caring and motivated.
Our staff undergo continuous professional development, staying at the forefront of early childhood education.
