The educators are caring with good communication regarding my boy, I sent my son to Goodstart Ashfield after viewing multiple Childcare Centres. My son enjoys his time there while I'm at ease knowing his in great hands. I highly recommend this Child care centre.

Just had a tour of this centre and I have every confidence with sending my daughter here! Sandy really prioritises safety and creating a safe space for children. The educators are very engaging and the children all seem to be really enjoying their time! They have a very leafy outdoor area and plenty of indoor space for children on rainy days. I can understand why they have been evaluated at exceeding the National Standard. I

very Good Childcare centre. All educaters are very responsible. And no screen time in this centre. There are lot of outdoor time. They keep very detailed records of the children's lives.
Goodstart Ashfield offers quality care for children aged six weeks to six years. Situated just a 3-minute walk from Ashfield train station and close to local amenities, our centre is highly accessible and community-focused.
Led by Centre Director Sandy Siljanovska-Umbrello, our team comprises passionate and dedicated educators from diverse cultural backgrounds, including long-serving staff members with up to 18 years of experience. We embrace a key educator approach to foster strong, trusting relationships with each child and their family, ensuring a nurturing and respectful learning environment.
Our play-based curriculum is guided by the Early Years’ Learning Framework and tailored to individual interests, needs, and strengths. We emphasise language and literacy, mathematics, creative arts, science, technology, and social-emotional development. This approach supports children’s holistic growth and smooth transition to school.
Families are encouraged to actively engage in our service through collaborative events, feedback, and contributions to our Quality Improvement Plan. Communication is maintained through Storypark, family nights, and newsletters.
Our outdoor spaces are designed to promote environmental awareness, sustainability, and active play. Fresh, nutritious meals are prepared daily by our qualified cook, ensuring children receive healthy and balanced nutrition.
Goodstart Ashfield maintains strong partnerships with local organisations, such as SPOT Children’s Clinic and Ashfield Public School, enriching our educational offering and easing the transition to primary education.
