I honestly can’t believe someone would give this childcare a one-star rating. We changed several childcare centres before finally finding this one—even though it’s a bit far from our home. I’m quite a picky person, but this centre truly prepares children for school. They don’t just care for the kids—they **teach** them how to get ready for school. More importantly, they listen to feedback from parents and take real action to support children at different stages of development. The result is clear: children gradually build the skills, confidence, and independence they need for school. As parents, this is exactly what we want and need. Google reviews are an open platform for everyone to share their opinions. If a childcare centre were truly poor, it wouldn’t receive so much positive feedback. The consistency of good reviews speaks for itself. We’ve now welcomed our second baby, and we will definitely send our second child to this centre as well. This is genuinely a great place for children to grow and prepare for their next stage of learning.

We are grateful to Goodstart Early Learning Forest Hill for the love, care and support they have given Emma over 2025 this year. A very special thank you to Vara and Anh in the Nursery room. Their kindness, patience and genuine affection have meant more to our family than words can say. Emma talks about Vara and Anh at home all the time, which shows how deeply she trusts them and how safe and happy she feels in their care. As parents, that means everything to us. We are so glad to find this center. My son love it and he always come home happy. He always had a great day with his teachers and staffs. It is quite sad that he finished his time with this center, he is going to school soon. Definitely he will miss everything here. In here, we found a FAMILY not only a Childcare.

Don't send your children to this centre is my advice. I saw some educators didn't engage with children properly, even left them alone and crying. The manager was not ok as well, I can't understand her English accent most of the time. The way she managed the centre, I feel it's not my ideal choice, therefore I can't let my children go to this centre. The manager is also a key point for me to consider, because some people are too superficial. I can't feel them trustworthy if they take care of young children. There are many centres in that area, I would prefer to choose some centres without almost the 5 stars reviews, but educators and manager are really caring and passionate to take care of children. And consider whether the centre has enough activities provided to children for learning and participating.

At the first time we came to the center, I feel so hesitate to send my son here. This will be the first time for him to go to the childcare and I need a worry free to get back to work. He was so attached with me moreover, we have been moving around too much. Therefore he has trouble to settle down and learning about the routine. After few months he has been attending this childcare, I totally worry free and trust my son is in good hands. The staffs and teachers really care to my son just like their own son. My son has been settle down, happy to go to the childcare and more independent. He has been improving in following the instructions and the routine. I could never be thankful enough to Deepti, Neha, Lizzy, Lilly and Julie, also other staffs, for taking care my son so well. I am so lucky to find this childcare. I dont think I could find any better childcare than this. Good job teachers and staffs and I truly thankful to all of you

Outstanding Childcare Centre with Amazing Staff! We’ve had such a positive experience with Goodstart Forest Hill, and we couldn’t be happier with the care our son has received for more than 2 years until we moved. Still he misses his teachers and friends. The entire team is warm, professional, and truly dedicated to the wellbeing and development of each child. A special thank you to Lizzy who patiently guided our son in Kinder. Further I like to thank Sargun, Julie, Neha, Lilly and Deepti. Your kindness, patience, and genuine care have made a world of difference. It’s clear that you all love what you do. The centre offers a safe, clean, and nurturing environment filled with fun, learning, and creativity. We also really appreciate the regular updates and communication it offered through story park app. Highly recommend this centre to any family looking for a caring, professional, and supportive place for their little ones to grow!

Highly recommend! My daughter started with the toddler room. She had a happy and wonderful year with the most caring and loving educators, Loris and Ang. My daughter really love them, she still remembers they planted spring onions together. Lol 😂 When she’s about to turn 3 years old, I started to looking Kinder and ELC. I finally tuned away with ELC offer but stayed in the centre for kinder program. There are 3 reasons. The first is the whole team. I always love that every teacher and educator of this centre knows every child. Some of them have known these kids since they are babies, which already have built up positive and strong relationships, it’s easier for toddlers to transit because 3 years old can be a tricky age. At this age, they are sensitive, but they are willing to learn, and they are ready to take risks, furthermore, they can be very stubborn sometimes. That’s why it’s important to have a team that have built up a safe and warm environment for these kids. The second reason is the teachers, especially Nitu, Lily and Lizzy. They are fabulous. I feel so grateful that they are the teachers. You could tell that kids love them. They are caring, patient, passionate, creative and very responsive. They have many talent ideas of play and learn. Last week, I was amazed by the sustainability project that they prepared for kids. The last reason is the program. What I found it’s so important at the 3 years old is that they pick up new things much quicker through playing. Half year in kinder 1, my daughter has learned so much and developed many skills. Bush kinder helped her understand the beauty of natures; staff from Bunnings taught her about gardening and planting; projects designed by teachers helped her learning the history of phones, sustainable living, different cultures of this country. That’s a few examples, but they definitely experienced far more. My daughter always comes back home and surprises us with something new. She would counting numbers on the way home, let me know days of the week, or sing me a new song they learnt on the day. One day she came back and said to me:”mum do you know worm eats egg shells” Or, ” mum do you know we can use fire to keep warm and cook?” From those conversations, you could find out these kids are learning but also having fun. Through play and learning, she has not just learnt things, but also built up good relationships and teamworks with other kids, she has gained confidence when to try new things. And I know that slowly slowly she will be prepared for schools in near future. For me I think the most important thing at age of 3 and 4 is to learn this world in a fun way, in a way they can show interest and easy to understand, but also in a place that our kids feel happy, safe and get enough attention. PS., The chef of this centre is just amazing! My daughter is such a fuzzy eater but she loves TB’s cooking! Those pastries he made always look so yummy! I may have only named a few educators here but all of their staff are truly amazing and dedicated of their works. The centre manager Deepti is such a great leader.

My name’s Jennifer. I have a 2year-old-boy James. I would really like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the team at Goodstart Forest Hill. As someone who also works in the early childhood education sector, I have quite high expectations when it comes to choosing a centre for my own child — I admit I can be a bit picky. I live in Glen Waverley, and unfortunately, my child previously had a very negative experience at a centre near our home. After visiting eight different centres, I finally chose Goodstart Forest Hill — and I truly believe I made the right decision. Centre Director Deepti has been incredibly patient and is a trustworthy and supportive leader. She arranged multiple orientation sessions to help my child gradually adjust to the new environment. I really appreciate the team’s philosophy of never leaving a child crying without comfort — something I deeply agree with. Although the centre’s facilities may be a bit older, the educators are outstanding in both their professionalism and attitude. I’ve come to appreciate the strengths of a smaller centre — where decisions are made collectively, and the team’s execution is always highly efficient. I would especially like to thank my son’s Room Leader, Loris Liu — she is truly responsible and dedicated! Also, a big thank-you to Educators Ann, Vara, the Kinder Teacher next door Lizzy, and casual educator Win — these are all teachers my son loves. I’m also very grateful to Assistant Director Neha, who always keeps StoryPark up to date so that we, as parents, can receive timely updates about our children. My sons both attended this centre, the eldest starting back in 2018. I could not rate them highly enough. A very slow staff turn over + super caring and friendly. I will miss them! I also love that it is a smaller centre, there is clear separate rooms and that it is set back in a leafy street, not on a busy road. Apart from runny noses, my boys rarely got sick. Could not rate highly enough!
