We have been with Blackburn South for over 3 years now, with both of our children attending, and we couldn’t be happier. Ashleigh and Sal have been amazing, always patient, approachable, and great at communicating and answering any questions we’ve had. The programs from Nursery through to Kinder are thoughtfully planned and engaging, the facilities are excellent, and the food is always yummy. Most importantly, we feel confident knowing our children are safe, cared for, and genuinely supported by the educators every day. Highly recommend this centre to families looking for a caring and high-quality early learning environment.

We've been going here for a while. First with our eldest and now with their brother. They have been very good with each different personality and adapting to their needs to make sure they are comfortable and happy. They are also very open to sharing lots of different experiences for the children and showing them the diversity of what this world has to offer. Keep up the good work.

We are very happy with our experience at Guardian Childcare & Education Blackburn South. The centre is clean, welcoming, and has a warm, homely environment. After visiting several other centres, we chose this one because it truly felt right. The educators are kind and caring, and the centre manager, Sal, was very patient and welcoming, taking the time to explain everything clearly. We are especially grateful to Abigayle and Mag, who helped our daughter settle in so gently. She was quite shy at first, but with their support, she quickly became more confident and comfortable. We highly recommend this centre to other families.

Highly recommend this centre. It's a second home for both our kids during the week, since nursery up all the way until they hit their kinder years. The staff get to know your children and develop a genuine connection with them - truely reliable, honest, supportive, patient and understanding educators. A shout out to all the current staff there, but a special mention to those who have seen our children through the years and stuck at the centre: Ashleigh, Sal, Ada, Noila, Hannah, Paris, Ghaz, Janet and to the up and coming new generation of young individuals - Chantelle and BJ - the kids adore you.

I could not recommend Guardian Blackburn South any higher. Both of my children have attended the centre since they were 1 years old through to school. We couldn't be happier with the wonderful community, educators, facility and overall experience. They have formed friendships with children and the educators have always shown care and helped them learn so many wonderful skills in readiness for school.

We absolutely love Guardian Blackburn South. The management team (Ashleigh, Sal, and Mag) is fantastic. Communication is always clear and easy, and they’re so approachable and reachable whenever we have questions. We also really enjoy the fortnightly newsletters and the Storypark platform — such a great way to stay connected with what’s happening in the centre. The teachers and educators are amazing — caring, professional, and so engaged with the children. The programs from nursery to kinder are fun, creative, and thoughtfully planned. Our little one is always excited to go and comes home full of stories and new learning. We couldn’t be happier! Highly recommended for anyone who’s looking for an amazing day care.

My daughter went to Guardian Blackburn South, after moving from another childcare in the area and we couldn't have been happier with them! We both work full-time so it was so important for us to choose the right place that felt like a second home, and Guardian was exactly that. The educators took care of her like she was their own. Friendships and her confidence just blossomed and seeing the difference at pick up and drop off was just incredible. She used to cry at drop off at her previous child care to and then at Guardian she didn't want to leave! They have so many fun incursions and dress-up days and really involve the parents, so you really feel seen and heard, which is fantastic. The children also have fun participating in practical skills, like bringing an empty lunch box for them to eat their lunch out of to practise their school readiness skills. A big shout out to all of the educators she had that treated the children with kindness, respect and a whole lotta love and made the effort the include their interests in the curriculum and made our darling girl feel so special; especially Jess, Smita and Abigayle (she's amazing!). Thank you for caring for our daughter from when she started as a 2 year old in the Toddler Two room to graduating as a big girl from 4 year old Kinder. I would definitely recommend this centre to anyone looking for a quality childcare in the eastern suburbs. It wasn't the closest one to us, but it was definitely worth the drive!

Our child attended guardian Blackburn South for approximately 5 months. I can say the educators here are really good and always patient with the children. Shout out to some excellent educators including Jess, Shantelle & Ghaz. I would have given them 5 stars; however, the Centre's management of billing and the childcare subsidy is mediocre at best. It took them about 2-3 weeks after start date to get the subsidy in place, and majority of the emails regarding billing were not responded to, including the emails to the Centre manager Ashleigh. Had a serious billing issue that was ignored (several emails unanswered) and was only given attention when I called and cracked it. Also, when we signed up, center management did not outline what fees were involved for childcare and we only found out after we began. Bare minimum should be providing information to the parents prior to their enrolment... we of course should have asked as well. Overall, a great center if you ignore the billing management.
