My son was having difficulty with his previous daycare so we moved him to Goodstart BS and we are so glad we did because he loves going to daycare now, thanks to all of the caring educators and staff particularly Dilini, Monika, Wai Tai, Tina, Stacey (I could go on...)

I had the wonderful opportunity to complete my placement at Goodstart Early Learning Blackburn South, and I can honestly say it was a life-changing experience. I knocked on many centers' gates just to get that one chance to prove my worth, and this center truly opened its doors to me. From the very start, I felt respected, valued, and welcomed. Stacey (center director) is very knowledgeable and humble; her guidance really makes the center's environment positive and professional. Every educator who works there possesses extensive knowledge, is highly passionate, and loves what they do. The amount of knowledge about children I received from my mentors Christy and Dilini, I am sure I would never acquire this type of knowledge from textbooks. They taught me with care and made me feel so comfortable every time. It feels like I am growing with the children. I would also like to appreciate Ruvini (Assistant Director). She is very approachable and always guided me during my placements. Their concern and dedication about the children's safety are remarkable. The way they supervised allergies, monitoring children during mealtime, was exceptional. The center is immaculate, beautifully designed, and has a wide range of equipment that supports children's physical and mental growth. This center changed my outlook and deepened my drive for early childhood education. Thank you very much, GoodStart, for having me. Thank you for giving me a chance to learn and grow from you.

Our son has been here for a few weeks now and we're so grateful that he's at this centre. The building is structured like a home, and the staff welcomed him like he was really was at home. Spending some time watching how each kid is both individually nurtured, and uplifted as a member of a wider group, it's clear that the staff are there for the love of the kids. We have had hiccups with our son communicating by lashing out, but the staff have been so reassuring, and have evidently had years and years of experience dealing with this sort of thing. They let us know right away and have been extremely proactive in taking steps to support both our kid and the other kids around him (and all the parents too), seeing that it's difficult for everyone involved. Knowing through difficult situations that they are transparent and supportive makes all the difference.

Such a beautiful and pretty clean childcare, I can tell that they take the hygiene in the centre really seriously. On top of that, the staffs are super friendly and very helpful, full of knowledge regarding on the early learning education. I can guarantee that children will learn a lot from this centre as they have plenty of resources and materials to help children learn, and I think they always invested all of the money back into developing children learning and well-being as this is a non-profit organisation. Highly recommended.

Our son attended Goodstart Blackburn south back in 2022 for 3yo kinder and we are so thankful to have found it. From the initial inquiry and connection with the centre director Stacey, we knew we would feel safe leaving our boy there. Stacey was so caring, bubbly and committed to looking after and educating the kids. Knowing that she has just celebrated 20 yrs at this centre, and seeing the longevity of the many staff there demonstrates that there is a healthy culture here, and staff have been well looked after. We know that that committed and engaged staff will be able to provide the best care for our kids. We had previously toured a number of other centres in the area that felt more like a business, but as soon as we stepped into Goodstart we immediately felt at home. My son has made some beautiful life-long friends from this centre (and so have we as parents!) and he still recalls some fun memories he has had. Thank you Stacey and team! I think it’s one of the best correct decisions I’ve ever made in the last year. My little boy settled very quickly and happy to attend each day. Educator and staff are very helpful and caring. Big shout out to good start blackburn south team, thanks for being so supportive and professional:)

I just had a tour with this site and it was a great experience. The Centre Director Stacey was warm, welcoming, and very professional throughout the tour. I also met several educators and the chef, all of whom were friendly and approachable. The centre is clean, well‑organised, and filled with toys and engaging play areas. Although there weren’t many children during my visit, they all seemed well cared for and happy. The Stacey also provided a lot of helpful information and encouraged me to ask questions, which made the whole process very reassuring. I’m extremely satisfied with this tour — it gave me a clear and thorough understanding of the centre in a short time. I’m really looking forward to enrolling my child here.

We got back in touch with the centre recently, after almost a decade as we needed some details from when our child attended, and it was so lovely to hear that Stacey is now the Director and most of the team are still there. I remember the mixed emotions back then having to leave my little one there so that I could return to work but Stacey and the team made us feel so comfortable and our child also benefited from the care and nurturing received.

My son transferred here a couple of months ago, and he has really enjoyed his time. He has made new friends and truly likes all the teachers. Thank you to all the teachers for helping him transition so smoothly and for always being so patient, caring, and friendly.

What really stands out is the depth of experience and the exceptional team culture within the centre. Many staff members have been with Goodstart Blackburn South for years—some for over a decade—which is remarkable in an industry known for high turnover. This stability reflects a positive work environment and ensures consistent, high-quality care for the children. Our daughter has thrived in this caring atmosphere, and we will definitely miss the centre and the wonderful people who make it so special. We sincerely wish the team continued success and encourage them to keep up the fantastic work, maintaining the love, care, and dedication that make Goodstart Blackburn South such an outstanding place for early learning.
