We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this daycare. My son is currently attending and absolutely loves it, he’s always happy, engaged, and well cared for. The educators are warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s development, which gives me so much peace of mind. I’ve also previously sent two of my older sons here, so our family has been part of the centre for nearly 5 years now. They are both in school and thriving, and I truly believe the strong foundation they received here played a big part in that. The team consistently goes above and beyond, creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the kids. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this centre to any family looking for quality care.

We’re so happy with this daycare. The educators are super caring and give great individual attention to each child. They really do go above and beyond. Our son absolutely loves going and has learnt so much over the last 3 years at one tree. It’s really comforting knowing he’s happy, safe, and well looked after.

Remi, Sam and the team have been incredibly friendly, passionate, energic and professional. As first time parents, they've helped us navigate the complex world of early childhood care.

About One Tree Altona Meadows Children's Service

Our service has a warm, family feel.

Our open door policy means that you are welcome to drop in at any time to spend time with your children. You can take as much time as you need to settle your children in when you drop them off in the mornings.

At Altona Meadows we promote healthy eating and offer a range of food for lunch. Stir fries, vegetarian meals, homemade pasties, soups and hearty stews are offered to the children. Children with food allergies and provide cultural diets are catered for.

We foster the Reggio Emilia Philosophy at our service and believe the environment is the ‘third teacher’, encouraging exploration and imagination, reflecting the natural world. You will often see our resident chickens running around the yard with the children. All our educators are passionate about their roles and strive to provide the best possible care for your children.

We are a 58-place service and our:

  • babies room caters for infants 0 to 20 months (allocation for 12 babies);
  • toddler room caters for children 18 months to 3 years (allocation for 16 children); and
  • kindergarten room caters for children 3 years to 6 years (allocation for 26 children).

A funded kinder program runs five hours a day, five days a week by our early childhood teacher. We offer both 3 and 4 year old kinder.
