We toured six different childcare centres before we chose Goodstart Carindale and we couldn’t be happier with our experience here! The educators across all three rooms are truly exceptional. Their depth of knowledge of the early learning curriculum is evident in everything they do, and the way they translate that into engaging, meaningful, play-based learning is incredible. Every activity feels purposeful, thoughtfully planned, and tailored to the children’s interests and developmental needs. It’s clear they genuinely understand how young children learn best. What we particularly value is how the centre communicates this learning to families. The Storypark updates are detailed, insightful, and incredibly reassuring as a parent. They go beyond just sharing what the children did - they clearly explain how play experiences are fostering STEM skills, building social and emotional development, or aligning with Montessori principles. It gives us such confidence that our children’s time there is both joyful and deeply enriching. Both of our daughters attend the centre and are absolutely thriving. They are confident, curious, and enthusiastic learners who genuinely look forward to seeing their teachers and friends each day. Watching their growth has been so reassuring and speaks volumes about the environment the team has created. The smaller size of the centre has also been a huge advantage for our family. Our eldest has built relationships not just within her room, but across the entire centre. Every staff member - from educators to management - knows our children, understands their strengths, and supports their individual development. That level of connection and consistency is something we deeply value. The management team is equally impressive. They are approachable, responsive, and genuinely committed to continuous improvement of their staff and the quality of care provided at GSC. They actively welcome feedback and act on it quickly and thoughtfully, which has strengthened our trust and partnership with the centre. Overall, this is an outstanding early learning centre. The care, professionalism, and passion of the entire team shine through in every interaction. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this community and could not recommend Goodstart Carindale highly enough to other families.

We are so happy with our experience so far at Goodstart Carindale. One of our sons has had some trouble with change, group settings and being away from mum and dad, but since day one at Goodstart he was accepted and treated with kindness. He has built a rapport with Miss Kali, I haven't seen this before outside of our home =) The staff genuinely care about his progress and want him to succeed- he's not put in the too hard basket, he's been shown love, acceptance, routine, respect, boundaries and time has been taken to understand him and how he learns. We have seen great progress in his learning already this year. Both of our boys love coming to school each week =)

Good start Carindale was the best thing that happened to my eldest child. The educators and their teams are absolutely fabulous and lead by example. They are excellent role models. The teachers always kept communication open with me about my child's progress and also helped me resolve and conquer any behavioral issues. With proper guidance and support to transitioning in school I am so grateful that I will start the journey again with my youngest. Good start Carindale puts my mind at ease as I know my child is in good hands and gets treated with kindness, respect and a lot of care.

Goodstart Carindale provided excellent care for my child with type 1 diabetes, ensuring he was safe and well throughout the day. They monitored his health and communicated well whenever there was uncertainty. The staff is attentive, knowledgeable, and very caring.

We were enrolled in a big centre last year, but there were too many problems with so many kids. We then found this place, small but very supportive and caring for each child and their family. From the director to every educator, they really listen to what you need and try their best to help. I am very happy with Goodstart, and will definitely recommend it.

There is no centre I would recommend to anyone other than Goodstart. Prior to enrolling my two children into daycare, I was extremely anxious and nervous, especially due to the fact that my son is autistic. From day one Miss Kali reassured me I had nothing to worry about with my son. over the last 6 months of attending the centre Miss Kali has put in 110% effort in resulting in the most gorgeous un-breakable bond that I still tear up thinking about. The support and assistance received in the short time we have been here is outstanding. Thank you so much to all the staff at Goodstart, I appreciate the passion, time, effort and care that you all carry on a daily basis. Thank you!

We initially sent our kids to the brand new Green Leaves centre in Carindale after they'd spent time in a wonderful centre in Fortitude Valley (we were moving) and it was a DISASTER. We ended up taking them out and opting for family daycare until she needed to close her doors through COVID. So glad we found Good Start Carindale. No, they don't have the same fancy wooden toys as the newer centre (actually in saying that I know they replenish their resources regularly!!) but they excel in the areas that matter. The educators are caring and my kids have really bonded to them. Centre management actually cares about staff and kids - there's an amazing culture here. Plenty of activities and a great focus on development. Totally love it here and am going to miss it when the kids go to school.
