Would not recommend based on my experience. The room often felt chaotic, with children dysregulated, screaming, and not consistently managed. I also observed what appeared to be favouritism, with some children praised while others were singled out, including my child. On separate occasions, I heard inappropriate language around the children, including a child being referred to as a “rat bag,” and witnessed an educator begin to use inappropriate wording towards my child before stopping when she noticed I was there. She had already been spoken too about a prior incident toward my child. This raised serious concerns for me about how children are spoken to. I have made a formal complaint to the relevant body and was advised there are ongoing concerns, which I found concerning as a parent. Since leaving, on my child’s first day at a new centre she settled quickly, and educators described her as calm and well-settled with no incidents. I was also able to leave within 5 minutes at drop-off, which I had never experienced before. The difference in environment was immediately noticeable. All children deserve to feel safe, respected and supported in care. This was not our experience, and disappointed as we attended the Narre Warren where we grow service since my child was 12 weeks old to 3 and a half.

As a first time mum it is really daunting considering heading back into the workforce and placing my only child into the care of people, other than myself or my family members. All of my concerns and anxiety were addressed and alleviated completely on my first dealing with the staff at Where We Grow Craigieburn. There is nothing too hard, no issue too large that they didn’t assist with in our transition to childcare. It has been a supportive and caring environment right from the beginning and the staff and premises are warm and welcoming. It really is a great environment for children to learn and grow. Educators who love what they do and lots of incursions and community based learning. The best decision I made for my family is enrolling my child. I definitely highly recommend to anyone wanting a smaller, child and family focused center with one on one tailored care.

My elder son Sean started at Where We Grow, Craigieburn and graduated Kindergarten. Sean had the best care which immediately allowed us to enrol our younger son Darian. The learning journey has been great for Darian. It’s a great place to get the younger kids enrolled in their pre school years.

A year of growth, confidence and genuine care! My daughter has attended Where We Grow for the past year, and the relationships she’s built with both the educators and the children have been nothing short of beautiful. She starts three-year-old kindergarten next year, and I’m genuinely excited to watch her continue her journey with the centre. Her independence has grown in leaps and bounds — she even toilet-trained herself with the gentle support, encouragement and consistency from her amazing educators. I cannot thank the team enough for being such a steady, nurturing and supportive presence for her throughout her year in Toddlers. The love, patience and genuine interest they show in her wellbeing has made all the difference. Where We Grow truly lives up to its name — my daughter has absolutely blossomed.

I try so many childcare but I wasn’t happy with the outcome and I found where we grow where my son is happy and I was happy with outcomes

Best centre around Sandra in kinder room is one of a kind

My daughter has been attending Where We Grow, craigieburn centre for over a year now. We have been really happy with everything. The educators are great. She has learnt a lot and looks forward to go to the centre every morning. The management is wonderful and is very supportive. We have never had any issues with anything. Really happy and highly recommended.

My daughter has been attending this Centre for about 18 months now and we have been very happy. We haven’t had any issues and all the staff/educators are lovely and my daughter has bonded with them nicely. There does seem to be a high staff turnover but I believe this is industry wide and I’ve never questioned my child’s care because of this ☺️
