I enrolled my son in this kindergarten with high hopes, but unfortunately, our experience has been quite disappointing. On his first day, the teachers did not greet or make him feel welcome, which was disheartening. Communication has also been lacking—after enrollment, I was not informed about the start date and only found out when I dropped him off and asked if he could stay. The atmosphere among the staff seems unhappy, and despite having many teachers, the environment feels uninviting. Additionally, during drop-off and pick-up, there is no warmth or friendliness from the staff; on the first day, a teacher asked me to leave quickly, saying I had stayed too long after only 10 minutes.

When I asked on orientation day whether they were still setting up or planning to add more to the playground, colors, or activities, the teacher simply responded that they were focused on clean space and getting the kinders ready for prep. I have an older child in grade 1 whose school has a much more vibrant environment with plenty of playground activities, colors, and toys. This kindergarten, however, seems to prioritise modern aesthetics over creating a joyful and engaging space for children.

I have been very happy with other childcare centers my children have attended, which makes this experience even more heartbreaking. I also noticed other parents facing similar challenges with their children. Overall, this kindergarten feels more like a restrictive space rather than a nurturing and fun environment. Something definitely needs to change here—for the betterment of the children and families, and also to support the mental health and well-being of the teachers. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously to improve the experience for everyone involved.
