State Government Approved Programs
With a holistic focus, the program at Eden Academy ensures the children grow in all areas of their development. This includes social, emotional, physical and cognitive skill development.
Nature is an important part of the program, teaching the children to respect and care for the environment. The children learn how vegetables grow and enjoy nature play activities. They understand the calm of spending time outdoors and enjoy all of nature’s creations.
Health and wellbeing is another focus of the program. The children learn about healthy eating and nutrition through the meals prepared by the centre chef. The centre also worked with allied health professionals, including speech pathologists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists, to ensure the children have every opportunity to thrive.

My name is Jodie, and I am the Centre Manager at Eden Academy Maroochydore. With over 10 years of experience in early childhood education, I am passionate about creating a nurturing, inclusive, and supportive environment where every child feels safe, valued, and empowered to thrive. As a mum of two school-aged children, I bring both professional experience and personal understanding to my role.
Throughout my career, I have built strong connections with children, families, and educators, focusing on fostering positive relationships and meaningful learning experiences. I am dedicated to supporting each child’s individual development and well-being while leading a team that prioritises high-quality care and education every day.
Maroochydore Centre Manager
The relationships between educators and families at Eden Academy are professional and respectful, based on open communication. The centre fosters a strong sense of community and values the role families play in this.
Through play-based learning and fun activities, the educators at Eden Academy teach a holistic and age-appropriate curriculum. Aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, the curriculum goes above and beyond to nurture each child and their unique talents, needs and interests.

Any issues I would have with Eden Academy would be issues I would expect anywhere else. The staff have been great, the facilities are awesome, and my daughter is happy to be there. Couldn’t ask for much more.

We’ve been at Eden since my 4-year-old was in the nursery, and now my second son also attends. I honestly can’t fault the centre. The educators are so caring, welcoming, and genuinely invested in the kids. It truly makes drop-offs feel like I’m leaving my babies with family. The communication has always been amazing, the centre is warm and nurturing, and both of my boys absolutely love going. We’ve had such a positive experience over the years and are so grateful for the care and support Eden has given our family.

The best advice I was ever given choosing a daycare was “Go somewhere it feels like dropping your baby off to your sisters house”. This is my boys second home and has been for 12 months now - across the nursery and toddlers room. He’s so happy there -sometimes, I can come to collect him after a long day and he’s happy to stay or he wants to show me what they’re playing with. Not surprised people drive out of their way to come here. They are consistent and genuine and I’m so lucky to have them in our village. You can get blinded by the brand new centres but we all know it’s the heart behind a centre that we’re all chasing for our babies. I hope this review helps someone get the same introduction to childcare I did.
