We Pride Ourselves on Being So Much More Than a Childcare Facility
We’re here to spark the imagination, set foundations for compassionate friendships, and create environments that inspire the very best, from the inside out.
Here at Eden, your little loves won’t just acquire a wealth of new skills and soak up a fountain of new knowledge. They will witness the importance of inclusivity. They will connect with their natural surroundings. And they will find joy in simple moments. All fuelled by a banquet of fresh, local produce sourced daily.
New Experiences to Nurture & Grow
Children are presented with new experiences through self and guided play and participate in our yoga and physical activity programs weekly.
Our staff are highly qualified with Bachelor of Early Teaching educators leading our approved kindergarten program to ensure your child has the best possible start to their early education.
My name is Kathryn and I have relocated to beautiful Cairns from Tasmania, with my family. I have been in the industry for almost 7 years, working as an educator in the classroom, room leader, and a Director of a service. I believe strongly in building positive relationships with families and their children, while working closely with my team to support them in delivering the best quality care and learning environments.
I am passionate about providing children with opportunities to learn, grow and play in an inclusive environment. I look forward to being a part of the Eden family in Edmonton and the journey I am privileged to be a part of.

After being traumatised and left permanently deaf from daycare as a child, I’m as picky as it gets when it comes to the care of my daughter. Eden academy has helped ease with that transition of trust. Thank you to Kathryn, Dani, and the entire daycare team. Everyone has been warm and welcoming, and they’ve addressed all my questions and concerns with care and professionalism.
Things that set Eden apart for me:
-the onsite chef, that’s allergy aware and creates wholesome foods
-the extremely tall, block out fences
-breastfeeding friendly
-uploads daily posts and communication via app for parents
-attentive with phone calls
-water features and great out door facilities
- the centre is not attached to the main road and has its own car parking space
-each room is cleaned and left orderly daily
-up to date, modern range of toys, books and soft play equipment

⸻

In the four months we’ve been part of this daycare, I’ve truly witnessed the passion and dedication of the staff. Their efforts to create a sense of community at Eden shine through—from hosting BBQs and building an outdoor library to organising special days that bring joy to both children and parents.
