I had the wonderful opportunity to complete my placement at Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre, and it has been an incredible experience. From the moment I entered the centre, I felt welcomed by the beautiful environment, filled with lush indoor plants climbing the walls, creating a calming and natural atmosphere. Firstly, I would like to thank the centre director and assistant director, who handled my placement application with such professionalism and care. It made me feel confident that I would be in good hands. On my first day, the centre director welcomed me, showed me the policies and code of conduct, and made sure I felt confident and supported. The educational leader patiently guides me through all my questions. The room leader I worked with gave me clear instructions and emotional support, sharing valuable teaching strategies along the way. I was also grateful to the co-educators, who made me feel comfortable and included me as part of their team. The genuine support from all staff members created a positive and nurturing learning environment for me.
Secondly, I was deeply impressed by the centre's commitment to welcoming and respecting diverse cultural beliefs. Thank you for giving me many opportunities. It was heartwarming to see how every child's learning journey and safety are taken seriously, with each little one being cared for in a meaningful and respectful way. I have grown so much through my experiences at this centre, both personally and professionally. And I am so proud to have chosen Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre for my placement. I am also proud of the children who have the privilege of attending such a high-quality care environment with excellent management. I also got an idea of preparing healthy lentil soup through the centre chef's meal.

One of the best childcare facilities in west part of Melbourne.
Enrolled my daughter in 2 year old kindergarten and initially she did not settle down but all the educators and support staff supported very well and helped throughout the journey.
My daughter is now 3 and half year old and first thing in the morning she want to go to Kinder.
All the staff including admin to the kitchen are very polite and welcome when you walk past the coridor.
They always get new activities and come up with new ideas to teach new things to children from different backgrounds and different cultures.
Definitely consider this place if you want peace of mind and regular updates on your child.
Good luck for yiur journey and hope you guys progress further and further and become Australia’s best childcare/ kinder facility.

Our son attended Hoppers Crossing Montessori Centre for almost an year and half after we moved from another suburb and daycare, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience he had there. From day one, the teachers and staff were incredibly warm, caring, and supportive — they helped him settle in so smoothly and made him feel right at home.
He truly enjoyed every bit of his time there — the environment was nurturing and engaging, and he would come home happy and excited to return the next day. The genuine care and attention shown by the educators made a big difference in his early learning journey.
Now that he has moved on to school, he still talks about his time at Montessori and misses his teachers and friends. We're so grateful to the whole team at HCMC for giving him such a positive and memorable start.
