Dear Heritage House Team,
I need to make it absolutely clear that my concerns are about the safety, wellbeing, and treatment of children at your centre, not about any billing or account matters.
I personally observed situations that caused me serious concern as a parent, including children being taken outside during extremely hot weather conditions, children appearing distressed and hungry, and an environment where many children regularly seemed upset, crying, or displaying aggressive behaviour.
My own children repeatedly showed clear distress about attending your centre. At drop-off, they often did not want to stay, and at pick-up, they were frequently crying, screaming, extremely upset, and emotionally distressed. Since moving to another childcare centre, I have not experienced the same issues, which only reinforced my concerns about the environment at your service.
I was also concerned about what appeared to be frequent changes in staff responsible for children’s personal care, including nappy changing. As a parent, a lack of consistency in carers handling intimate care raised serious concerns for me regarding safeguarding, supervision, and the comfort and security of the children.
These are serious child safety and wellbeing concerns from a parent’s perspective. I also have a witness who observed concerns regarding how children were being treated.
This is the issue I am raising, and it should not be confused with any separate administrative or financial matters.
Regards,
Pasha Ardestan
