We couldn’t be happier with our choice of daycare for our daughter at Dashing Ducks Castle Hill! From the moment we arrived, we’ve been consistently impressed by the warmth and care shown by the staff. They are not only highly professional but genuinely kind and nurturing, making our daughter feel completely at ease.

The location is fantastic – nestled in a beautiful heritage home, it provides a lovely, homely atmosphere that sets it apart from other centers. It’s also perfectly positioned within walking distance to the metro, making drop-offs and pickups so convenient.

What truly stands out is how much our daughter LOVES attending. Every morning, she eagerly looks forward to her day, and when it’s time for me to leave, she blows me kisses instead of crying! That says it all. It’s clear that she feels safe, happy, and well-loved in this amazing environment.

Every day is packed with creativity, exploration, and learning through play. Whether it’s arts and crafts, sensory activities, outdoor fun, or early learning experiences, there’s never a dull moment. Our daughter is absolutely loving it! She comes home excited, full of stories, and eager to share all the fun and new things she’s learned. Seeing her so happy and engaged reassures us.

The center itself is clean, well-organized, and thoughtfully designed for kids to explore and enjoy. The level of communication from the staff is also fantastic—we always feel informed and involved in Vanshi’s day, which is such a comfort as parents.

This is a fantastic pre-school and we are so happy we heard about them from another mum in the area. The staff are friendly and welcoming. The children always seem engaged and involved in the activties with other kids and the teachers. You can tell that this is an environment where people care about what they are doing. The heritage building was used by milestone early centre, where our son was enrolled earlier. Unfortunately they moved out and all the kids had to relocate which was quite traumatic for the kids and inconvenient for the parents. To tell you the truth, we were little hesitant to start with Dashing ducks, same building but new provider. As it was closer to our home and has perfect location, we decided to book a tour. I am glad we stepped out of our comfort zone and fell in love with the place the moment we stepped through the door. Bright, polished, clean, new resources, fully renovated with warm smiling new teachers. Our son transitioned smoothly and loves it here now as he is getting prepared for the school next year. We get to see lovely photos of activities, meal times and play time with kids of different age. They all are like a family nurtured with love and affection while sharpening their academic skills at the same time. We will highly recommend parents to come and try out this place and surprise yourself by seeing how quickly your kid will settle down in their environment. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The program at Dashing Ducks incorporates learning and physical skills, delivered in a positive and inspiring environment.

The learning program encourages the children to be confident and capable, playing an active role in their learning and development. The children learn through play with a range of challenging and culturally-diverse play experiences. Through a holistic curriculum, the educators focus on the whole child, building strong connections between the centre and home.

The physical program focuses on Fundamental Movement Skills (FMS) and gives the children the strength they need to participate in games, sports and recreational activities. Once again, the children learn these skills through play and develop a love of physical activity they will carry throughout their lives.

The children have access to engaging activities in both the indoor and outdoor learning environment. They develop a respect for nature and have opportunities to problem solve, express their creativity and develop their social skills.

The educators work with the families to build strong relationships that benefit the children. The aim is to work collaboratively as a team to incorporate family experiences into the program. This is supported with communication through different channels. Parents can speak with the educators face-to-face or through the centre’s online platform.

Our online platform, Child Care Central, allows parents to view the program as well as the educator’s observations about their child. To encourage two-way communication, parents can also share information or stories from home. Child Care Central also houses information about the children’s sleep, food intakes, bottles and nappy changes.

With strong connections in the community the educators invite community members into the centre to teach the children about their role as global citizens. Parents can also access community support and resources as required.
