Hello,

 I’m Renuga Kannan a qualified and registered Family Day Care Educator with a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and over 22 years of experience working with children aged 6 months to 13 years. My Family Day Care is CCS-approved and proudly registered with All Areas Family Day Care – Early Years Care. My centre open hourse Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
My home-based learning space is warm, safe, and well-equipped, offering both indoor and outdoor areas designed especially for Family Day Care activities. Children enjoy a balance of structured learning and play-based experiences that encourage curiosity, creativity, and wellbeing. Indoor activities include: Art and craft, Nature and sensory play, Imaginative play, Early literacy and numeracy games.

 A large grass play area for running, jumping, and ball games. A shaded undercover pergola with tables and chairs for group activities and outdoor learning , climbing equipment, and natural play areas. Gardening to promote sustainability. These spaces allow children to explore,develop their physical skills, and enjoy active play in a safe and engaging environment. Our Educational Program follows the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) Version 2.0, supporting every child’s social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. We focus on six key learning areas: Literacy & Numeracy, Exploration & STEM, Wellbeing, Creativity, Sustainability, Culture & Belonging.
My Philosophy : I believe children learn best in a loving, engaging, and supportive environment where they feel safe and valued. My goal is to nurture each child’s confidence, curiosity, and independence—helping them build strong foundations for school and for life.
