My daughter has been in Afrozas care since she was 6 months old. She is now 3. Afroza made the transition to childcare stress free, she has treated Xanthe with such love and care. We absolutely love Afroza and highly recommend her family daycare. My son and daughter spent a couple of years with Afroza before starting kindy and school this year. She is reliable, compassionate and always there to help if needed. She absolutely loves kids and will do anything for them. She's kind and gentle and very loving. She always had fun play experiences for them and has wonderful resources and a dedicated care area set up in her home. We will miss Afroza and her family very much. I have known Afroza for approximately 7 years, first as a Coordinator when I worked for Wesley Mission Queensland Family Day Care, and then as a parent. When I worked as a Coordinator and would visit Afroza in her home regularly, it was easy to see in her interactions how much she genuinely cared for and adored the children, and her environment was continually evolving with new experiences for the children inside and outside. Afroza made the transition back to work so much easier for me, she is truly one of a kind - welcoming, supportive, generous and humble…she will always be a special part of our lives.

Afroza and her family have welcomed us in so warmly, I truly feel we have struck gold here. My 18mo has been attending for 6 months and my only regret is I wish I had looked into Family Day Care earlier. She is excited to pack her bag each morning and I always look forward to the morning chat with Afroza. Each day there are new activities and I receive lots of photos to keep me in the loop. My 6yo also attends after school care and his mood is so much better now he isn't at OSHC. He actually looks forward to the days I work late! He plays basketball, soccer, plays with his sister and gets time to just chill out with activities Afroza organises for her and her son. We have gotten to know Afroza's whole family. There is such generosity and warmth in Afroza's home, we feel really lucky to be there.
