Here is what you may face right after enrolling. Ratios are never 4:1. I made multiple surprise visits to my child’s room and personally observed children being left alone and unattended. Staff are very smiley and welcoming when parents are present, but the environment changes completely when you are not around. Children are left to play on tablets—yes, they do use tablets, despite claiming they do not. With up to eight children and only one overwhelmed staff member, the only option seems to be keeping children occupied with screens. God forbid your child is involved in an incident—unless you witness it yourself, no one will tell you. In many cases, staff are not even aware that an incident has occurred. Dealing with operations management is an entirely different experience compared to the warm and friendly approach shown during enrolment. It feels like stepping into a completely different world. Do your child a favour and stay away.

I am so grateful to the staff at Little Stars Melton for the level of care for my baby. We have been with the centre for almost 12 months now and really happy with everything. The centre is always clean, the facilities are awesome, the farm is a really great addition to the facility and the carers are amazing. Communication is great and I love that their days in care are shared with stories and photos via the app.

What a big mistake my partner choose this place for our Angel.My son had been in an incident where no one can explain how it happened,left alone to cry out of his lungs then only could be realised he is lying on the floor and something is wrong,left with scars on his face and behind the ears and neck still no body knows how occurred,when asked what happened she got questioned by operation management that our little angel is different than others!(autistic)So he can't get the quality of care he needs from them..she asked for cctv which was taken by operation management and later destroyed. We won't stop.we will find out what happened to our angel here in the hands of people who have courage to question his special condition when he is the one who experience the all pain by himself..

My child sustained serious, unexplained injuries while in the care of this centre, including sharp linear marks to the face and behind the ears. Educators on duty were unable to provide any clear account of how these injuries occurred. I found it deeply alarming that injuries of this severity went unnoticed and undocumented. When I sought explanations and accountability, the response from management became confrontational rather than focused on my child’s safety and wellbeing. I was informed by centre operation management that they were not able to provide the level of care my child requires due to his autism. This statement was deeply distressing and raised serious concerns for me about inclusion, capability, and appropriate support for children with additional needs.. Based on my experience, I have serious concerns regarding supervision, incident response, and the centre’s ability to safely care for children. I urge parents to exercise extreme caution and thoroughly investigate these matters before enrolling their child.

My kids have been enrolled here for years and I have only good things to say about Little Stars! The educators are lovely and amazing teachers doing a diverse range of activities - from trips to the centre's animal farm or bush walks, as well as teaching all different things to grow great little humans. I can trust that the kids are well nourished and looked after from drop off to pick up and they love to tell me about their day on the car ride home. Hayley and the team have done amazing things here and I wouldn't take the kids anywhere else.

We were worried because our son was coming to a new day care at 2 yrs old due to moving houses. Luckily Little Stars has been so helpful with not only the admin side of our issues but helping our son be welcomed and loved that it only took a week or so before he loves going there and doesn't cry when I drop him off

Honestly, I couldn’t be happier with this childcare centre. My daughter has been there for a year now and she’s absolutely thriving, more confident, social, and curious than ever. The educators are so genuine and go above and beyond with things like bush walks and caring for farm animals (she used to be scared of animals, but not anymore!). There’s also a big focus on learning here. The kids explore numbers, science, space, and so many other topics through fun weekly themes. The meals are healthy, multicultural, and delicious, and the staff are caring and dedicated. It’s such a nurturing, well-run centre. We're very lucky to have found this centre🥰

Little Stars is a fantastic centre. Coming from one terrible centre, and our second being forced to close its doors. They welcomed our son with open arms. But not just him... his friends and even some of the educators too. He has excelled so much, and so quickly, that we can barely keep up. Hayley and Janelle saved our butts, and have been so supportive. Emily and Louise have helped our son grow so much. And along with all the other educators there. We couldn't ask for a better centre.

From the moment we were introduced to little stars, we fell in love. My child is happy, well looked after, well fed, and adored by all the educators. The little farm animals are a bonus. It's the perfect pick for us. I talk about little stars to everyone I know. Thank you for being so educational, kind and all round welcoming
