The team here are absolutely delightful. I love how often they provide opportunities for children to get out and about. They aren’t stuck inside day in and day out, educators listen to the children and take their lead when it comes to activities and learning. I have not single bad word to say about Kin.

Following on from the centres mid year survey I felt it was time I publicly wrote how we are feeling about Kin ELC. We have absolutely loved our experience at Kin ELC. With the recent changes to the preschool space, I now feel so confident that my little one will be truly ready for school. The learning environments, intentional teaching and support from the educators have been incredible to see. The communication and engagement from the team is also outstanding. We always feel informed, welcomed and genuinely connected to what is happening throughout the day. One thing I really value is that the educators are focused on spending quality time with the children, building relationships and being present, rather than constantly posting live updates. We still receive meaningful information about meals, sleep and the day’s experiences at the end of the day, which feels like such a healthy balance. Kin truly feels like a community and we are so grateful to be part of it. Keep up the great work team Kin!

We have had a wonderful experience with Kin. We made the switch after having a traumatic experience with a home-based provider. Kin has provided a caring, supportive, and most of all safe environment for our two children who are absolutely thriving.

We absolutely love being part of the Kin ELC community. The open communication from the team is something that truly stands out — we always feel informed, supported, and included in our child’s journey. It’s so reassuring knowing that each day the educators are intentionally supporting our child’s individual needs, interests and development. You can see the genuine care and thought that goes into everything they do. One of our favourite parts is how much time the children spend outdoors. Watching them play, explore and learn together across the spaces is just beautiful. I love how much children are able to spend time together. Most of all, what makes Kin so special is the strong focus on relationships. We have had such a wonderful experience with Kin Early Learning Centre. Our little one started at just four months old and is now almost 15 months, and the growth we’ve seen has been incredible. The educators create such meaningful connections with the children, and you can truly feel the warmth, care and thoughtfulness they bring every day. We’ve noticed so much development, from learning basic baby sign language to new words, waving, clapping, blowing kisses and using gentle hands. The centre has really supported both our child and us as parents, especially in those early months when drop offs were tough. With the guidance of the educators, our little one now gets excited for morning colouring and toast. The learning environment is fabulous, beautifully set up with a Montessori approach, clean, safe and very well maintained. The attention to detail is outstanding. Our child enjoys the delicious meals cooked onsite, the engaging activities set up by the educators and the daily books and reading time. There is a great balance between learning and play, and we often see new skills at home that were introduced at the centre. The team has also helped with routines such as sleeping and introducing solids. Communication is excellent, with daily afternoon updates and additional notes throughout the day when needed. Staff are responsive, supportive and always greet us with warmth. The curriculum updates and feedback loops also give us great confidence in the leadership and quality of the program. If I had to describe Kin Early Learning Centre in three words it would be caring, supportive and safe. Sending our child here has truly been one of the best decisions we have made as parents, and I would absolutely recommend this centre to other families. Thank you, Kin ELC!

I’ve been lucky enough to have my children attend Kin Early Learning Centre over the past five years, and I couldn’t speak more highly of the service. The management team consistently go above and beyond, and the educators are simply amazing. I’ve been fortunate to have some of the team look after my children in other early learning centres before Kin, but Kin truly stands out it’s the best in Queanbeyan. The care, communication, and sense of community they’ve created is second to none. Highly recommend!
